"The hotel was like home from home, all members of staff made us very welcome and were exceedingly helpful.
The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed both the breakfast and evening meals, good ingredients beautifully cooked and the service was quick and attentive.
Our holiday was mainly to visit gardens in the surrounding area,, five of which were within one hours drive = heaven.
York’s Park and Ride was a 20 minute drive away and we spent a good few hours sightseeing and shopping,...

"The room wasnt very clean in bottom draw was a empty whiskey bottle and the windows had mould around them
At evening we had our meal on the 1st course which was soup there was a bit of plastic found in it the staff couldnt apogise enough but didnt really make me enjoy rest of my tea leaving it

"The Skipton needs updating. The shower curtain rail was held together with duct tape and falling off the wall. The bath traps would not turn off without serious effort. "
