This is a very nice property and I think I would stay here again. Reasonably priced compared to local hotels and very comfortable. My room had a problem with the aircon (stuck at 26.5C) and the shower mixer tap had no cold water at all, so no shower without 3rd degree burns. I had to email to remind about arrangements for arrival, but once there all was very smooth and efficient. The accommodation was comfy and clean and well equipped. Not quite as soundproofed as might have been expected from the description, but its hard to keep out all the construction noise of central Birmingham. Would definitely use again

The property is very nice. The shower leaked and the door was not on its rail. The apartment whilst very nice, is let down by the poor cleaning service. The apartment is dusty in the bedrooms and I could not sleep in the bed as the undersheet smelt very badly of body odor. Someone was coming in when we were out at work which we did not expect but would have been nice for them the let us know and to have had the apartment cleaned. Communal areas all very nice and kept clean. I would recommend this to anyone but does require a good clean.

Great Stay
Apartments are fabulous - asked for a nice quite room and it was perfect. Had slight issue with tehe heating and shower warmth but was more or less sorted on day two. Apartments have everything that is needed in them and they are to a high quality standard

Good looking but not so comfortable
The apartment is best located. It is spacious and clean. Its bed is cosy. Full equipped kitchen. Its staff is friendly. Everything is nice. But some of its hardware failed. The room temperature is controlled by a terribly designed electronic button which does not work easily. With great efforts and over 10 minutes, I slowly moved the cursor from 18.5 degree to 19.8 degree, since each time - if I succeeded in moving the screen’s little man into his box and ordered to move up room temperature - it moved up only 0.1 degree. I gave up eventually and went to bed early. The bathroom is very bad, the basin is so small that I cannot wash my face without wetting my feet. The water is not hot enough and the no-door design of the shower area easily flooded the whole floor after my wash. There should be a on-Site staff to whom you may call for help, to be fair. But I just went strict to bed.

The apartment was brilliant in a great spot to all you need for your stay in Birmingham city centre , we used b4 parking a 5 min walk away and used 8 Waterloo discount which was spot on with price and knowing your car is in a Secure car park while you enjoy your stay hassle free . Me and my wife would definitely stay at 8 Waterloo again thx for great weekend in Birmingham 👍

Hi Thank you for a great review, you will be pleased to know we are finally , potentially being able to fit certain units, the building is listed, so we are working with different guide lines as we want proper fitted units. We have some mobile units available. The weather has been very very hot, so we have been trying to keep our building cool.

Dear Kim, Thank you for your review, but you have never stayed with us . You did book, you were asked to verify certain details, so we could process your booking further. Nobody, could get hold of you, you arrived after our check-in time, so we were unable to check you in either. No payment was taken by us as we could not make contact. It is damaging to have reviews from non guests. Sometimes there is a bigger picture

Great Staffs, Good Location, Nice apartment
Overall is good. Staffs are nice and helpful. The location is great and very convenience. However there is no hot water for shower in midnight... Lucky it is summer time but I cannot wash my hair as the water is too cold. I just can have a quick shower.

Hi, Thank you for your review, we checked your water and it was hot for us, however the gauge was turned the wrong way so, if you press the button and turn towards the desired temperature it gets hot We are very sorry you had and issue and hope to see you again. Relaxing New Year Stay
We stayed for one night on New Years Eve. The apartment is really well located for some great restaurants & bars. The apartment is very well presented and has everything you need for a few nights away. The building is stunning inside and out. We were greeted and shown to our apartment by a friendly member of staff, she explained the heating system to us and then left us to relax. Within an hour of checking out we had been refunded the security deposit so all very efficient. We would definitely stay again!

Great central location but no parking provided outside of the venue. Decor, cleanliness and quality of accommodation outstanding- limited check in time was almost a problem as it is difficult to predict traffic problems ! If you like the apartment approach- these are suberb but I missed the other services you get with a hotel

Scam
They scam your money from the deposit of 350 pounds by making false claim there was something wrong with the room after you check out. In my case it was "sofa stain"which I have video evidence to proof it was there at time of check-in. And they do not reply your email afterwards. I have reported this to the government. Be careful.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Apartment was very comfortable and stylish. The location is ideal for access to city centre, with lots of restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again, rather than a faceless hotel.

I didn't like the big £350 deposit they had to hold over the weekend other than that I loved the apartment. Could do with a chest of drawers in the apartment somewhere maybe bedside tables with drawers.
