Buen hotel por el precio pagado
Habitación básica pero vale la pena por lo pagado. Parece un poco como un camarote dd barco pero repetiría la estancia.

Not worth the money paid for the room. The room was basic, the door locks didn’t work properly so ended up back down at reception 3 times. One to miss I would suggest!

We booked an overnight stay as we had a concert. It was literally a 2 min walk to the o2 and about a 10 min or less walk to the town centre. It was cheap and cheerful pretty basic but it was really good for us and what we needed it for. Staff were really nice. No complaints from us.

Hotel was affordable and clean! Staff were friendly and helpful, however the key cards to get around the hotel rarely worked and you had to go back to reception to get them fixed. The area around the hotel was good in general, however there were a few occasions where some guests were followed by teenagers and other times where people would be urinating in public right opposite the hotel

Property itself was fine, bit dated. The reason for the low review is because of the locks and entry system into the room. Staff not very willing to help. The other guests we spoke to also had the same problem. These would need to be updated as not very accessible, both in a literal sense, and in a disability sense. Being able to physically get into the room shouldnt feel like you're doing a puzzle.

Awful, hair in my bed sheet, floors aren’t laminated like in the pictures, wasn’t clean, if you come here you will most definitely need slippers, the room is tiny, toilet paper is like sand paper and there no kettle or coffee either, which really annoyed me, I had to get dressed go downstairs and buy one, will not stay here again

The young lady checking me in was bored, lazy and not an asset to the ibis. I asked for a quiet room away from the traffic. She gave me a room on the first floor (clearly full of hen party and stag party people, who came home all hours and work me up several times. She was giving other guests checking in rooms on other, higher floors so there was capacity. Then, the first key she gave me (Room No. 130) didn’t work twice. No word of apology that I had to approach the checking desk three times before I got into my room. Not one word of apology. It was as if she was doing me a favour. It was only when I said that I’d take a refund if the third attempt didn’t work that she changed the room and, surprise!!!, the key did work for room No. 148. She clearly thought it amusing to destroy years of appreciation for the ibis brand in one bad experience. Sad that the ibis has come to this. The young man in night duty was great, by contrast, letting me in at 9:00pm. But, too late. First impressions count. Would never pay £107 for such an overall poor experience again. Lack of professionalism, lack of manners, lack of work ethic and lack of care of her employer’s brand. More interested in being on her mobile phone when she left the desk unattended (I had to wait for her on my last attempt to get in my room). Not sure how she thinks the ibis pay her wages each month. Finally, the room was not very clean and worse, for me, it was cold all night with a noisy air con for heating.

Affordable and a good walkable location for Birmingham. Friendly reception staff and nice quiet and clean rooms. Simple and small but clean and comfortable with nice hot shower.

Chose this hotel for a simple place to sleep after a late night out close by and didn't expect much in the way of luxury. All we wanted was a clean and comfortable stay and we were pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews. Staff welcoming friendly and helpful. The room was small and basic but nice, bright and clean. We had a separate loo and (pod) shower that had great pressure. Hot drinks and snacks available downstairs 24hrs, parking on-site. Perfect for a budget hotel.

Staf brilliant but didn't realise that budget meant very basic. Crap mattress and pillows no teas or coffee in rooms and keyless entries were useless as everyone was having problems with them. Also didn't realise that parking was extra on top. Won't be staying again

Considering the location (by a major road) the hotel was on a quieter side road which made it good for pedestrians. Room size was a bit on the small size, and 'one colour' scheme was a bit stark, but overall was fine for a budget hotel. TV and shower were easy to work, and efficient. Heating system was complicated, and could be noisy, but staff were friendly at showing us how it worked.

Don't bother booking here
Stayed here years ago and had a bad experience but thought I would give it another chance. Only 1 tiny lift working so had to wait for lift to go up and down a few times before we could get in. Corridors filthy, carpets looked like they could do with a good clean. Smelt of smoking on my floor and even heard a dog barking. Car park is not big enough. I payed £8 to park when I arrived then went out for the evening. When I got back car park gate was locked and I was told by 2 rather rude staff I couldn't park in there as it was full. Ended up having to park on a residential street. Reception staff did give me my £8 back but very grudgingly. While I was getting this sorted a family was asking for their money back for their room and leaving because their room was so noisy. I will definitely not be making the mistake of going there again.
