Der Vermieter ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich und sorgt sich um das Wohl seiner Mieter. Utrecht und Amersfoort sind gut mit dem Zug erreichbar, ca. 10-15 Minuten Fußweg zum Bahnhof. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen Kurzurlaub benötigt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir waren 3 Tage dort,die Villa und der Garten sind wunderschön.Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und kontaktfreudig.Die Ferienwohnung befand sich im Dachgeschoss des Hauses, wo zum Schluss eine recht steile Streppe in die Wohnung führte.In der Wohnung ist alles notwendige vorhanden.Eine Klimaanlage war nicht vorhanden,aber es standen Ventilatoren bereit.

We enjoyed especially the nice garden which the owners pleasently share with their guests.Wonderful area to visit Amersfoort and Utecht as well as doing cycling around Bilthoven.

Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich, ordentlich und in einem wunderschönen Haus. Die Verkehrsanbindung nach Utrecht ist super, so dass man kein Auto benötigt. Der Ort an sich ist auch sehr schön. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hat uns viele Tipps für Utrecht und auch für Bilthoven gegeben. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen :)

Bob was a great host. He met us at the train station and took us back at the end of our stay. He gave us some suggested activities and places to eat which came in handy. The room was spacious and comfortable.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Bob gave us a warm welcome and gave us helpful information about the area. It's a 15 minute walk to the train station with 4 hourly trains to Utrecht. Our only reservation was the proximity to a busy road, bit overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Wir haben insgesamt gesehen eine schöne Urlaubswoche in dem gemütlichen und praktisch eingerichteten Apartment in Bilthoven verlebt. Bob, der Gastgeber, war stets freundlich und zugewandt. Positiv überrascht haben uns die zweckmäßigen Lichtquellen, die das Lesen bei gutem Licht an unterschiedlichen Stellen ermöglichten. Das ist in vielen Ferienunterkünften nicht gegeben. Die Lage im Zentrum der Niederlande ermöglicht einem, innerhalb einer Stunde Fahrtzeit viele attraktive Städte zu erreichen - ob mit dem Auto oder mit dem Zug. Das abwechslungsreiche Naturschutzgebiet direkt hinter dem Haus lädt zu Radtouren und ausgedehnten Spaziergängen ein. Fairerweise darf man aber nicht verschweigen, dass das Haus an einer tagsüber an Werktagen stark befahrenen Durchgangsstraße liegt. Die (geschossenen) Fenster schirmen zwar den größten Teil der Verkehrsgeräusche ab, dennoch ist die Geräuschkulisse störend für Menschen, die Ruhe im häuslichen Umfeld gewohnt sind oder eine ruhige Lage erwarten.

Wir haben eine ruhige Unterkunft mit guter Verkehrsanbindung gesucht und diese Unterkunft war ein perfekter Treffer. Aus Bilthoven kann man wunderbar Tagesausflüge mit dem Auto oder Zug nach Amsterdam, Roterdam, oder Keukenhof unternehmen. Unser Vermieter war jederzeit mit vielen guten Reiseempfehlungen hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank noch mal für die schönen vier Tage!

Bob is incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. The property is beautiful. Everything you need to relax and recharge. Easy to access Utrecht and Amsterdam by train, but a lovely little village to stay in and explore by its own right. We would absolutely recommend visiting Bilthoven and staying with Bob…and will stay with him again if we find ourselves back in Netherlands.

Een schoon appartement van alle gemakken voorzien bovenin een prachtige stijlvolle, vrijstaande villa uit 1937. Ligging is prima, dicht bij natuur én stad. De gastheer is naast heel aardig en behulpzaam ook erg informatief.

We spent a couple weeks here and enjoyed it very much. The apartment had everything we needed to make our stay easy and comfortable. Bob was an excellent and friendly host, giving great recommendations, answering questions, or just to chat with. Would highly recommend staying here if you don't like bigger cities, but it's still close and easy enough to reach the cities if needed. Train station is within walking distance as well as other stores (groceries/restaurants) that may be needed. Highly recommended place!!

We had a very pleasant stay here. Edu made us very welcome and the accommodation was of a high standard but would not suit someone with mobility issues due to the steep stairs. The location is ideal with great train connections to Utrecht. Great place to get around on your bike too.

The property was a great base for exploring a good part of The Netherlands. The rooms at Bilthoven were spacious and comfortable. Access via the steep stairs was an initial challenge, but these are common in Europe. Bob was a great host, providing good guidance on things to do and places to go. The house is situated close to the village centre and close the train station, allowing travel to Utrecht within 30-40 minutes. Nearby are woods, forest, statue park and walking/cycle paths,which were a pleasure to explore. Would recommend this place as a good place to stay - away from the busy tourist haunts.

We booked this due to the area it was in and the larger beds available. We were pleasantly surprised at the great service from our host. It’s up two full flights of stairs, one a Dutch set, but once you are there you are there. Bob helped us with restaurants and laundry! He’s a wonderful host.

We were two friends who used both bedrooms and the amount of space and amenities were terrific. Bob was easy to deal with and super helpful every single day when he would greet us as we came down the stairs to head out for the day. We explored several areas of the Netherlands via train from Bilthoven. We would definitely recommend this rental to others.

Bob shows a level of kindness and decency that is oft lacking in the world. I felt very safe and comfortable tucked away on the private third floor. To stay here you should really be comfortable walking or biking to do things. There's good public transit options as well. But it is a bit away from the main cities. I enjoyed this, however, and enjoyed experiencing daily life biking to the market, to lunch, and into Utrecht. Bob was also an excellent communicator which helped helped me feel like I wasn't totally alone in a new town. Thanks Bob!
