This cottage had all the potential charm in the world. To my disappointment, property clearly is not pest controlled inside and out. Ridiculous. Chain smoking neighbors just as ridiculous. I do not recommend this cottage.

Everything about the cottage was wonderful, and exactly as described in listing. At other VRBO homes, we’ve brought sheets, paper products, detergent, etc. We ‘gambled’ and brought none of those, and they were all provided. The house was fitted with everything else we could need, pots, pans, silverware, linens. View out of the living room and primary bedroom was direct to Crystal Lake and beautiful. Property owner checked in regularly, and was super speedy with replies to questions. Absolutely plan to stay at this property again.

The house was so cute, clean, and has a beautiful back porch view. It was perfect for our little family. We loved the kayaks and how close the house was to so many quaint towns. As the listing mentions, parking is tight - would recommend bringing a smaller car if you want to park in the driveway. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in cozy crystal cottage over the 4th of July and it was perfect for us. The house is immaculate, everything was new and clean, with beautiful furnishings, and comfortable beds. The house had everything we needed and lots of thoughtful details that made it feel like home. We loved sitting on the porch looking at the lake, swimming off the dock, and my sons really enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the water. It’s a short trip into town for dinner or groceries. We would highly recommend!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cottage rental with our family, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the cozy ambiance to the stunning waterfront location, it truly provided the ideal setting for a memorable vacation. One of the first things that struck us was how meticulously clean the cottage was. It was evident that the owners take great pride in maintaining a spotless environment for their guests. Walking into such a pristine space instantly made us feel comfortable and at ease. The communication with the management company was great. The location of the cottage was a dream come true. Being right on the water meant that we could wake up to breathtaking views each morning and unwind on the deck, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. A standout feature of this rental was the shallow and safe lake, perfect for our children to play and splash around. It offered us peace of mind knowing that they could enjoy the water while we relaxed nearby. The availability of kayaks was an added bonus. We also loved that we could get pizza, ice cream, mini golf and a beach town all near by! We will absolutely be back. The only thing I would add is that parking is tight. This wasn’t as issue for our family as we all drove together but something to think about if you plan to have more than one vehicle.
