The property was beautiful. Stairs not good for elderly guests. However, we had a wonderful stay. Everything that was needed was there. We had 2 houses for the family.

Celebrated our 50th anniversary here. Beautiful lake home, great beach for kids, water unbelievably clear and shallow. Nice seating with fire pit and gazebo on the beach. Comfortable beds, ample space for our large family. Well equipped kitchen. Kayak and stand up paddle boards were nice! Overall a great place. Kids are already talking about coming again!

Great Spot for a Family Trip

We had an awesome stay with our family of nine—three generations under one roof! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. There was plenty of space to hang out together or find a quiet corner to relax. It was the perfect home base for our trip, and we’d definitely stay again!

Wonderful week spent with our multigenerational family. House was exactly as advertised and in a beautiful location. Amenities were robust including water sport toys (e.g. canoes and Lilly pad). Outdoor fire pit was great with ample seating. Definitely looking forward to coming back again.

Extended family trip

Overall we enjoyed the property and the beach are. A few things could have made it better. The lower level bathtub that appears elevated on a platform needs to have grab bars installed. The clothes dryer does not function properly, even after running the clothes through a second spin cycle. Our group had looked forward to using the grill, but finding it next to the trash cans and looking quite dirty and covered with leaves and bugs we changed our minds. It definitely didn’t look ready for the first renter. S’mores at the fire pit were great. With all that being said, the house is beautiful and we made some great memories with three young children who will not forget the week.

Wonderful visit in August 2023

This property is everything it is advertised to be. Spacious, beautiful main living area which was well stocked with the basics - cooking equipment suitable for all meals, including birthday cupcakes, spices and condiments, dishes, tableware, etc, even for our group of 12. Lovely renovated kitchen and living area, etc. Spacious game room, extra bedroom and living area in the walk-out lower level. The nice, sandy beach and deck area is great for families and kids, and the water was very swimmably warm and shallow all the way out to the end of the long dock. Boat rentals are available locally, as well, but we did not do that, preferring to use the provided kayak, paddleboards and paddleboat. Thanks to Susan and Nancy for a wonderful family vacation!

Beautiful Stay on Crystal Lake

The property is excellent for a multi-generational family stay. Location is beautiful, close to Beulah and Frankfort and facing the beautiful sunsets. Beach area across the street is perfect for the kids. Please note if you are renting a boat you will need to make mooring arrangements as the owners' boat hoist is occupied. Property was clean at check-in and check-out instructions were clear. Owners were very responsive to our needs and caretaker is close by as well. Our family had a wonderful stay.

Wonderful!!

We were so pleased with our stay. Location is great and the house itself is lovely. Full main floor update which is not reflected in current pictures. Multiple living spaces make the house so livable for a larger group. Super well appointed. Beach cabana is ideal. Will for sure be back!!

Beautifully Updated

My family owned this property for over 40 years and sold it 2 years ago. We loved it so much that we wanted to return and we were blown away by the updates and improvements that have been made to the house and beach. The kitchen is amazing and the beach has been greatly improved by the addition of sand and we loved the covered patio in the beach. Thank you for taking such good care of this place that we love so much and for allowing us to return to our favorite place in on earth. Crystal Lake is the best!

Blue Sky Days

It was easy to grab our beach gear and just cross the street to the beach. Host-provided stand up boards, rafts, paddle boat and more were big hit. Clean water and sandy beach were ours for the week.

Family vacation

Gorgeous location with great access to Crystal Lake. Beach seating, dock and SUPs included were awesome. House is large with lots of room for sleeping. Bathroom access/layout a bit awkward. Kitchen very well stocked for real cooking. Some minor maintenance issues (towel bars poorly installed) but nothing that prevented us enjoying the vacation. Overall, we had a great experience.

Amazing Ski Weekend!

This property exceeded our expectations! The home was immaculate. The kitchen had everything we needed. The space itself was so calming and serene. We loved that the kids had a space to hang. Short 20 minutes drive to Crystal Mountain. Would highly recommend!
