"The location was central to all the places we wished to visit along the 2 lakes. We had a rental car so parking on premises was a bonus. The accommodation was roomy for the 5 adults in the family. The kitchen was well appointed so we could cook meals with groceries from the nearby COOP. The Interlaken discount card Monika provided saved us a few Euro in admission fees at several attractions. She was a hospitable and welcoming hostess. I highly recommend."

"Our family loved the quieter village and it was still quick, very efficient to travel around Bernese Oberland region from this relatively central location. The views from the balcony were magnificent and changed dramatically during the day. The house worked perfectly for our family of three. "Das Haus liegt an einer top Lage.Man ist sehr schnell bei der Bahn,Coop,....Wir wsren 9 Personen .Das ist ideal. Leider war es nicht do sauber,voralkem der Backofen,und allgemein das Geschirr inkl.der Racletteofen.Wir mzsdten alles zuerst nocheinmal abwaschen.Leider ist das Haus ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen.Daher finden wir den Preis viel zu hoch."

"The view of the Lauterbrunnen valley is the most positive aspect of this chalet. The chalet is roomy. Lots of USB ports are available. The basics were provided in the kitchen. Washer and dryer were located in the basement and worked great. The outside patio was delightful. The chalet is not located in downtown Lauterbrunnen but quite a ways out of town. "Wir haben die Woche im Chalet Weitblick sehr genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider war das Geschirr sehr schmutzig. Wir mussten praktisch alles abwaschen bevor wir es benutzen konnten. Ist jedoch der einzige negative Punkt. Wir werden sehr gerne wieder kommen."

"We hadden een heerlijke week. Mn door de fantastische lokatie van het chalet. De inrichting was zeer compleet. De keuken is wel behoorlijk verouderd en de vaatmachine deed het regelmatig niet. Ook waren er geen gebruiksaanwijzingen aanwezig van de apparaten en de kachel wat wel vervelend was. Ook de verlichting in de badkamers was minimaal omdat er alleen licht via de spiegel komt. "The property manager gave great directions and correspondence before arrival. The beds were in two separate areas, but the main level bed and bedding were uncomfortable. The separate downstairs and 2nd bedroom doesn't heat up and stay very cold if you have to utilize it which we did with 4 adults. The balcony is very nice and has a great view, parking is easy. I still do not understand why we had to leave cash for the tax and it wasn't billed through the VRBO system. Very inconvenient to have to...

"Overall, the property worked for our needs. The address listed is actually to the rental property office, but the exact house. So it’s a bit farther out of downtown than it seems, but we had a car and it seemed public transport was close by. Showers are quite small, but normal for Europe. Beds are very firm,but fine for a short trip. Kitchen has basic essentials. We had to wash some of the bedding when we arrived on two beds as they smelled used and sweaty.
