We had a wonderful family Thanksgiving at the lake! It snowed and was a perfect winter setting for our family of five to be together for the holiday. Plenty of space to relax, play games, complete puzzles, cook, and most of all, be together!

Check in good, kitchen good, WiFi sporadic, parking permit access a bit confusing.My family enjoyed the location to the beach, the cottage had everything we needed. Questions were answered quickly. We enjoyed walking and dining at Captain Lou's.

Just what I wanted

This was a girl's trip to celebrate my birthday with friends. The house was cozy and just as it appeared online. My friends all commented on what a great place. Being there in November was off-season to enjoy the very few steps to the beach (would be great in season) but we enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the lake. The home was clean and had everything we needed and expected. The one downer was that the thermostat alarm went off at 7 AM on Sunday for a rude awakening. After pressing every button I was able to stop the noise and let them know about it. So we just got up and left earlier than planned since there was no rest after that! There's nothing they could have done to predict that - but overall, it was a wonderful trip and we all had a great time in this sweet cottage.

We loved our stay. Just some suggestions.

A few suggestions: handrails are needed in the showers, & the back storm door closes too hard often trapping body parts ( we have bruises to prove it). TV usage was quite challenging. If your neighbors in back would trim the bush at the corner down to fence level, you would have a fantastic view of the lake.

Great visit!

We loved this property - it is exactly as advertised. Full kitchen, which is nice, and plenty of beach towels. The bedding was nice, we all slept well. My son wanted to take the shower home. It is just a little tricky to find - be sure to follow the directions carefully and go all the way around the hairpin turn. We would stay again - great access to beach.

Great Beach Cottage!

Had a great time at this comfortable and clean cottage. The beach was huge with soft white sand. Parking was close and easy. Set in a beautiful, quite community. The sunsets are gorgeous!

Amazing Property!

This cottage was perfect for our family of four! The location cannot be beat as you are literally just steps away from North Beach. The kitchen and bathroom have been nicely updated, and there was plenty of bedroom space for all. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation in South Haven.

Wonderful vacation!!

We loved our stay at the Poplars! Literally every part of our stay was perfect! The pictures don’t do this property justice. We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The property managers couldn’t have made the arriving process any easier. Right away we received a text. We didn’t need a thing, but they were just a text away if we did. They also left popcorn and a bottle of wine for us! The Poplars is so, so close to the beach! We just truly couldn’t have been happier with our stay! We will definitely be staying here again!!!

Just amazing

This was our favorite trip this summer! Perfect location- property was so clean and well equipped. The communication with property management was best I have ever had ever renting a summer property… that’s over 17 years!!! We can’t recommend highly enough!!!!
