Needs some TLC

In the property description there were box fans in each bedroom but when we arrived on a very hot day there we're only two fans in the whole house that worked. I found a large dried out tick inside of my bed which was very unsettling but I gave up talking to management after my first conversation regarding the fans. They pushed back pretty hard about addressing issues and I didn't want to ruin my weekend. If I had the ability to attach pictures I would show the tick.

Life on the River

Very pleasant stay. We felt right at home. The property was rIght on the river which allowed us to watch the geese land and take off. A very unique and enjoyable experience.

Beautiful cabin on a quiet river

My family really enjoyed our stay in this cabin! The furniture was comfortable, kitchen well stocked, & the neighborhood was very quiet.

Great River Setting and Terrific Home

This property was perfect. Property manager easy to deal with and made check in fully electronic. Wonderful park like back yard with terrific deck and dock to enjoy the river! This was perfect for a our visit to Bend!!!

Excellent house with on-site water views

We saw deer numerous times grazing, and loved the peace and quiet. The house was incredibly clean and large, accompanied with under-floor heating. The TV's cable was not hooked up, but it gave us an opportunity to read more of our bibles. Love it!

Relaxing getaway

Great relaxing getaway in a quiet neighborhood. Beautiful house with fully stocked kitchen (everything you need for cooking). Beds were good, body just has to get used to sleeping on memory foam mattress. We did bring our own camp chairs and I'm glad we did, outdoor furniture hadn't been out of storage yet due to very early in the warming up season. Nice deck and dock to sit out on, had a herd of elk visit across the river one night. Only suggestion would be to have a "welcome" book with some house instructions and maybe some things to see and do in the area. Instructions would have been helpful on how to turn on the fireplace, wall controller was hidden behind a Ficus tree. Otherwise, lovely home and would stay here again.

Nice large riverfront but could use some additional comforts

House was large and good for a family. Loved being on the river. Kitchen is large but is lacking with cooking essentials, such as a variety of utensils (spatulas, serving spoons, serving plates), and knives were dull (no sharpeners). A big missing ingredient were omelet pans. Also, no a/c which was difficult some nights. Some comfy lounge chairs would have been nice so we could enjoy relaxing by the beautiful river. The lawn area is not well kept. For the price one pays overall it should be like a resort. Finally, the last issue is out of the owner's control but all nearby neighbors were mowing their lawns at different times of day almost daily (on the weekend and during the week) which was annoying but obviously part of being in a residential area. Again, for the price we paid we found it bothersome.

Clean, comfortable and spacious. Right on the Deschutes River.

Pros: Clean. Comfortable beds. Spacious. Nice kitchen and bar with BEAUTIFUL bar stools! New inside couches. Deck with swing by the easily accessible river. Barbecue. Nice outside furniture. Cons: No A/C. No coffee. (There is a coffee maker though). No hot tub. We really enjoyed our stay in this clean and comfortable home. The highlight of our trip was kayaking from the house to Harper’s Bridge. We also rented bikes for 2 hours and rode the river loop that took us by the river, the stables, golf course and the Marina. So beautiful and relaxing. The neighbors are nice and are full time residents, so it was nice and quiet. (Except when the landscapers showed up at 9am with their VERY loud leaf blower on checkbout day: Monday). I don’t understand why anyone would rent a home right in Sunriver when they have the option to rent this home that is right on the river and only 10 minutes from the Village. We would love to stay here again.
