Loved our stay at Loppia Secret Garden by Wonderful Italy! San Giovanni is a hidden gem: quiet, charming, and off the beaten path. Perfect mix of comfort, authenticity, and Lake Como beauty.

Would love to love it, but maintenance and lack of service ruined it.

Positives: The location is fantastic, offering a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Areas for Improvement:The main shower had a leak that caused water to spill onto the bathroom floor every time it was used. When we brought this to management's attention, the suggestion was to use a mop. Not a response one wishes to receive when paying for a holiday with a price tag of over 300 a night. Mold was present throughout the apartment, which was concerning. The lighting in the apartment was quite dim, giving it a somewhat cave-like feel. Three large towels were allocated to us; they didn’t dry due to the high moisture levels in the home. We requested extra towels during our six-night stay and were informed it would incur an additional charge. We were told someone would get back to us, but this never happened. One kitchen chair was particularly wobbly. Upon request, it was picked up by maintenance only to be returned the next day in the same condition it was originally in. On our last night, the air conditioning stopped working. Given our previous experience with maintenance requests, we felt that pursuing further assistance would be futile due to the lack of customer service we encountered. Overall, while Loppia Secret Garden has great potential due to its location and size, attention to maintenance and customer service could significantly enhance the guest experience.

Good size and loc

The apartment is comfortable - beds and bed linen of a high standard. Size of bed rooms good and two bathrooms is very good . Living room small and two person sofa - but we didn’t mind. It’s a bit tricky to find and you can’t park on the street as it’s restricted but there is a few spaces at the topOf the hill which are usually available. A few minor things - no bottle opener and the bathroom shower leaked quite badly so when you had a shower lots of water on the floor. It’s perfect walk into town and I would recommend .

Great place

Fabulous apartment, comfortable has everything you need. Being next to the Villa Melzi was really great and provides you a long walk along the lake all the way into town. The apartment was everything we could’ve asked for and more. Clean great communication.

This apartment was great being approx 15 min walk from the main part of bellagio (which is overrun with tourists). It’s an older apartment (so a little mould in the bathroom tiles) but we loved the space, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A nice little garden outside. It’s right next to the entrance to Giardini di Villa Melzi(non- Belaggio town side). It had a heater which I was grateful for. I recommend this as a budget apartment.

Great apartment, great location, out of the crazy august touristic frenzy in Bellagio!

We loved the apartment, the closeness to the beach, the quiet neighborhood. We parked the car and could walk everywhere we needed to go, perfect holiday hideout!

Quick Trip to Bellagio

We had a wonderful stay at Loppia Secret Garden. The photos on-line are just as lovely in person. The bedrooms are quaint and the fact that each bedroom has a bathroom was a huge plus. The kitchen and living room although small are very cozy and nicely appointed. We found the apartment to be immaculate and the location was within about at 10-15 minute walking distance to the town center of Bellagio. It was very easy to get in contact with the property manager, she was extremely responsive to our needs during our entire stay. Our only difficulty was in finding the apartment. They did provide us with a PDF sheet of instructions, but even with that, it was challenging. My suggestion to future renters is to note that the white guard rail "crossroad" you are looking for resembles something closer to a steeply declined walking path rather than a road. We didn't even notice it and drove past it several times until realizing it was an actual "road". Our property manager was very patient and helped us finally find it. Note to future renters, if you are traveling with a car, parking can be a bit challenging, but your stay will be worth it!! We highly recommend staying at this quaint property.

Bellagio stay

A nice, clean apartment that had everything we needed in a quaint area of Bellagio, about a 10-12 minute walk to downtown. Our only gripe would be that the apartment wasn’t ready when we arrived and the communication with the company that runs this place wasn’t the best. Overall a very good stay.
