Excellent Location
This property was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The location couldn’t be any better. It was steps from the ferry so we could easily explore all of Lake Como. The neighborhood was lively and and fun, and only slightly noisy at night, which didn’t really bother us. The highlight for us was the large balcony. We spent a lot of time at the outdoor table eating, drinking, and watching the street life below. What a pleasure! Comfortable bed, nice shower, well-equipped kitchen. We highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment
Beautiful apartment right in the heart of Bellagio. Very clean and spacious with everything that you could possibly need. Rosanna is a lovely caring lady who met us at the ferry terminal and helped us with our luggage to the apartment, then went on to explain everything to us about the ferries, places to visit, and best places to eat. The apartment is in an ideal location with a beautiful view. The only negative I would say is the amount of steps from the terminal to the apartment. On the day that we arrived unfortunately my husband had a chest infection and difficulty breathing (copd) and he found it extremely difficult to lug a heavy suitcase up the amount of steps to the apartment. Rosanna was very kind to lend a hand but just be aware of this if you suffer from asthma or copd. We would definitely stay again in Bellagio and this apartment but maybe bring a lighter suitcase. We would like to thank Francesco and Rosanna for a lovely stay and the help and knowledge that you gave us. This was our first time to Italy and Lake Como, and it definitely didn't disappoint. It is a stunning place to visit and we will be returning. Stuart + Tracy

The perfect location for a stay in Bellagio
During our 44 days traveling across Italy, we wanted our accommodations to help us truly experience Italy. This location was right in the middle of Bellagio on one of the main stairways with so many restaurants and shops within steps of where we were staying. We saw the same people everyday and our stay made us feel the real community of Bellagio. Our apartment was up the hill and on the second floor with no elevator, but it was not too bad getting everything up and down. The apartment is very nice and the deck was really nice to sit outside enjoying the views and listening to the church bells. Rosanna was one of the most amazing hosts we've had in all our stays in Italy. The night we checked in there was a terrible storm and we were literally soaked to the bone. Rosanna met us with umbrellas at the ferry and helped us bring our rain soaked luggage up to the room. She is a deeply caring and lovely woman and I could not imagine staying anywhere else when we return. If you find this VRBO available don't hesitate to book that jem. Thank you Rosanna for making our stay in Bellagio so memorable.

Great location!
We loved our stay at this great apartment in Bellagio! Very clean, tidy and super quiet even though it’s above a busy area. Just be aware there are 65 steps from the boat ferry area. Not to bad usually, but on a hot day with heavy luggage 😳 I would stay here again!

BELLAGIO (borgo) è tutta scale. Se controllava le foto vedeva i 65 scalini che ha fatto, solo in discesa con la valigia, perché è arrivata all’appartamento per la strada trascinando e per le scale dell’appartamento la valigia l’ho portata io. Nei mesi estivi è facile trovare giornate molto calde. Grazie per la recensione dell’appartamento.

Bucket List for me!
I really don't want to say all of the great things about this property as others will want to book it and I would rather keep it to myself! Perfect location, VERY clean, updated, spacious, air conditioned, safe, and a very lovely host Rosanna! She assisted with event information, luggage, shopping. I felt like I was staying with family. The outside porch area was large with a peekaboo view of the lake and mountains. It was the absolutely perfect place for me. I shared with friends for two of the four weeks I was there and there was plenty of room inside and out. The pull out couch in the living room was comfortable(I was told) and the door to the room made it private for friends. Loved sitting on the porch in the mornings listening to the restaurant and shop keepers greeting each other and starting their days. Just the right amount of "noise" without being intrusive and quiet at night. Can't go wrong with this property! I will be back. Thank you Rosanna!

Great apartment in Bellagio
We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was in a perfect location within walking distance to all the restaurants, shops, and the ferry. It was very clean and comfortable, with a very nice balcony. The host, Rosanna, was a pleasure to work with. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing
The apartment in bellagio was perfect in many ways. It is in the middle of the town on a street with restaurants and shops. Sitting on the balcony we could watch the world go by, people dogs mostly everyone having fun. Francesca, should update her photographs because they do not do justice for the upgrades that have been done on the unit. I hate giving such great reviews because they may wanna rent the place again in the future. Would highly recommend anyone that can handle the walking in Bellagio to rent this apartment. Ciao

A Little Gem!
The apartment was so conveniently located. It was clean, quiet and had all the conveniences you’d ever need. Rosanna is a lovely lady who was so helpful. Perfect location
We were in town for a wedding, and needed a place to stay that was centrally located and easy to navigate. The apartment was in a perfect location, the space was clean and allowed perfect utilization for sleeping, relaxing on the balcony, fixing a snack, and showering. Everything you want or need in a place. Rosanna was incredibly helpful and responsive.

Absolutely wonderful!
The apartment is lovely with many, many extras, even toothpicks. There was fresh fruit on our arrival. Rosanna met us at the ferry and then on the morning of our departure helped us with our bags to ferry. Even took a picture of us on the ferry and emailed it to us. The apartment is in the middle of the town near everything. Everything in wonderful condition. Loved it!

Amazing Location, Beautiful Apartment, Lovely Balcony
We cannot say enough positive things about our stay in Bellagio at this lovely property. It is located in the heart of Bellagio, close to everything. Rosanna met us at the ferry upon arrival, taking us to the apartment, so no searching for the property when we were tired from traveling for many hours. When we come back to Bellagio, we will stay here again!

Casa confortevole e location eccezionale
L'appartamento ha tutto ciò che si chiede. E' estremamente pulito, accessoriato e confortevole. Ha una camera matrimoniale con cuscini e materasso molto comodi con un armadio capiente con specchio e luce all'interno (simile a una piccola cabina/armadio). La sala ha camino, TV, divano letto matrimoniale (con comodo materasso), tavolo e sedie. Da qui si accede ad una terrazza abitabile con tavolo e sedie per mangiare all'aperto, con vista in lontananza del lago. La cucina ha lavapiatti, forno, forno a microonde, grande frigorifero, tavolo con 4 sedie e tutti gli accessori che si desidera. Il bagno ha doccia, asciugacapelli montato a parete e lavatrice. La proprietaria gentilissima ci ha fatto trovare anche acqua, merendine, dolcini, tè, caramelle e gianduiotti per darci il benvenuto, brochure, orario dei traghetti e mappe del posto e dintorni e ci ha descritto tutto ciò che potevamo vedere. La location è perfetta come punto di partenza per visitare tutto il lago. Il parcheggio a pagamento è a poche decine di metri, quello gratuito ad alcune centinaia di metri. Insomma, non si può chiedere di più, ci è sembrato di stare a casa nostra. Sicuramente lo consiglierò a parenti e amici. Andateci!

The perfect, pristine apartment in a beautiful location
We had a lovely week in Bellagio and loved the location of the apartment “right in the thick of things.” It was exceptionally clean and Rosanna was very helpful getting us settled in. If you go, don’t be afraid to take the ferry or a small group boat tour to the other nearby villages. It’s easy and fun. We randomly chose a village--like Varena--and took the ferry over for lunch. One highlight of the week was the lunch boat trip in a small group with Captain Lucca…his gorgeous mahogany boat is located just to the left of the ferry terminal which is all right down the street/alley from the apartment. The restaurant right across the street/alley from the apartment is a real gem. Upstairs, it’s a “white tablecloth” restaurant for lunch or dinner (Terrazza Barchetta). Reservations for dinner are a good idea because it’s a small, popular place. Downstairs, they sell pizza and other trattoria food, as well as breakfast after 8:30 or 9 am. The villa is only set up for demi-tasse coffee service, so if you’re thirsty for Cafe Americano or Latte and pastries in the morning, just go get them at that restaurant! They’ll give it to you in real cups, saucers and plates as long as you promise to bring the dishes back! (There are also plenty of coffee bars along the main lakeside street at the bottom of the alley.) We were also lucky enough to be in Bellagio for one of the Lake Como Music Festival concerts. It was held at the beautiful Villa Carlotta and featured a world renowned pianist and a cellist. Again, an easy ferry ride over.

Lovely apartment in center of Bellagio
Francesco met us at the ferry and helped us with our bags, made sure we knew how everything worked and gave us recommendations for dinner. The apartment is large with a terrace and has everything you need, and is about midway up one of the narrow walkways in the middle of this beautiful village. A great spot to anchor while visiting the many villages around the lake. No car needed, just ride the ferry’s that crisscross the lake. And Francesco was there to help us back down when it was time to leave. Many thanks Francesco!!

This is a wonderful apartment and Bellagio is a beautiful place to visit on Lake Como.
We stayed here for a week and wish we could have stayed longer! The apartment is exactly as described and one of very few with a spacious balcony and a lake view. It was spotless and well appointed. The location is perfect for sightseeing, eating, shopping and exploring the town. Rosanna was very responsive throughout the entire process. She and a friend actually met us on the road (and saved a free parking spot for us!) as we arrived in our rental car. They helped carry our bags up the steps to the apartment and provided a thorough tour of the apartment. Rosanna is also happy to provide restaurant and activity suggestions. I highly recommend this apartment and we are looking forward to staying there again on our next trip. Thanks to Rosanna for a perfect visit!
