Beautiful detatched cottage situated within a small hamlet near Bamburgh.

  • Millstone Cottage, located just outside the beautiful historic town of Bamburgh. It is a detached cottage with 2 good sized bedrooms, a recently refurbished bathroom with a walk in shower, dining kitchen, living room and beautiful conservatory looking onto a well kept secure garden and gently flowing burn. There is private parking at the front of the cottage for one car and there are a few steps both leading into the front and rear of the cottage. It is situated within the rural hamlet of Waren Mill and a car is strongly recommended, although public transport is available close by.

Lovely cottage, perfect location for exploring the Northumberland coast.Exceptionally clean and has everything you could possibly need.The dogs were well catered for and felt right at home. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely property overall as described had good communication with host who ordered a fan for us to use during our stay due to the hot weather very thoughtful and much appreciated The kitchen had all you could wish for the beds were really comfortable It could benefit from some lighting at the rear though

Throughly enjoyed it places was amazing so cosy and garden with lake with ducks was so brilliant. Our dogs had time of there life. We got buses to Bamburgh, seahousrs, Alnwick so beautiful didn't want to come home host Gill was the best contact was spot on. Love us all

Absolutely delightful cottage. The bed was extremely comfy and it had everything we needed. The conservatory and garden were a real bonus. I would definitely stay again! Highly recommended.

Cottage was beautiful, had everything we needed. Very comfortable.. very accessible to everywhere.We loved it so much we are planning to go back in October..Our dogs loved Bamburgh beach..

Great cottage in great location for Bamburgh, Lindisfarne, and Alnwick. The host, Gill, was very responsive in all communication we had with him. We would definitely stay again. Also, the paddock across the stream, although not associated with the cottage, had a great set of barnyard animals that were an added bonus!

We have just returned from a fabulous few days in this gorgeous cottage. The location was perfect for visiting all our favourite places in the local area and it was a lovely warm and cosy place to return to each night. The host, Gill,provided lot's of information prior to our stay and the cottage was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. I have already recommended this accommodation to friends and family,and would love to return in summer to enjoy the beautiful garden.

What a lovely place to stay, so relaxing, clean and comfortable! Very convenient to explore the lovely sites of Northumberland, we visited Bamburgh, Beadnell & Seahouses all are just down the road, ideal base for exploring, we loved relaxing in the conservatory and watching the animals in the paddock opposite, we loved the cottage and the area and would love to visit again

Very comfortable bungalow

Millstone Cottage

Beautiful, and a lovely home from home, with everything you need while you're away. This was our first time in Northumberland for us, and we'll certainly hope to stay here again, possibly next year, to explore more of the area 😊

Waren Mill

Had a very relaxing few days at this cottage, it is so peaceful & yet close to all tourist sites. The bottle of Prosecco on arrival was very nice. Excellent host, would definitely stay here again & would highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage

A lovely setting overlooking the Waren Burn and fields beyond. A pretty garden for relaxing in the sunshine. The cottage is very comfortable with quality furniture and a well equipped kitchen. We had a wonderful holiday, Gill provided lots of good information about things to do and places to eat. We thoroughly recommend this cottage.

This is a lovely little cottage in a quiet hamlet within a short drive of Bamburgh, along the scenic coast road. We had one question for the host during our stay, and she responded almost instantly. The cottage was clean and well furnished and we quickly felt at home. When we next visit Northumberland we will definitely check if it's free.

We (three adults) all enjoyed this lovely place. Plenty of room, well furnished and equipped. Handy for all coastal places and great for walking.

Very comfortable, well maintained and equipped to a high standard. Real bonus to have the conservatory and decking with a river running past the garden. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay thank you.

Great place and location

The cottage was great, directions were spot on. It was in a great area, located nicely between Bambugh and Alnwick. They provided us with some great recommendations to eat at and the conservatory was a great place to sit and enjoy the scenery.

Millstone cottage

Excellent holiday house in great Location, very clean and comfortable with lovely conservatory and overlooking the burn. Would be happy to recommend. Also great for bird watching only five minute walk to Budle bay.
