EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING STAY!

My family chose this property hoping for a convenient and home-like alternative to a hotel, but unfortunately, our experience was far from that. Upon arrival, we were shocked by the lack of cleanliness. The floors were dirty, we found mouse droppings on the bed, a used washcloth was left in the master bathroom, and the hall bathroom tub was absolutely disgusting. We followed the house rules of no shoes inside, yet my child’s bare feet were black from walking around on the floor. The refrigerator was another major issue: despite being set to 36°, it was reading at 52° and would not seal properly. Even putting a case of water in front of it didn’t help, and the food left inside was rotten. Additionally, the back door wouldn’t open without scraping the supposedly “new flooring,” which is a significant fire hazard. When we brought these issues to the host’s attention, we were met with unsatisfactory responses. They claimed they had not had time to replace the flooring between different check-ins and outs, and insisted they had deep-cleaned the house themselves the day we arrived. The conversation ended abruptly with the host telling us, “if you don’t like it, leave.” Only after contacting VRBO customer support did the host offer to bring an ice chest with ice to the house. This property is a perfect example of how pictures can be deceiving. Our experience was extremely disappointing and far below our expectations. I hope this review helps future guests make an informed decision!

Great for our family

We loved the property. It was clean and spacious. We had 9 people for 2 days and 7 people for the remainder and it was plenty big enough. Just overall loved it.

The Blue Crab Review

I was disappointed when we first arrived because of the steps leading up into the house, from the living room. Saw them in the picture but it did not register that the bathroom would be at the top of them! Over all the house was lovely.The kids had the yard and enough seating to be happy.Plenty of linens, not enough pots and pans. The hot/cold water was backwards and caused a concern for the kids taking their own baths as the water is set very hot. There were enough plug ins for all technological equipment. Washer and dryer and dishwasher all work great as did the Keurig. We enjoyed our stay and we would stay again.

Need to reschedule the dates

Several members in our group tested positive for COVID. We called the property manager but never received a call. We would like to reschedule late July 2022. Also never received communication on how to get into the property.

Amazing stay

We had a family of ten. Plenty of space for each person .House was very clean and great location .We were litterally 5 mins from beach and any store. House was stocked and had anything extra we may have needed.Host was very receptive to all messages and easy to work with .Defintly will book again if in area .

Cozy comfort.

Restful

Besides the confusion of finding it (due to being given the wrong street name), the house is not hard to get to! Inside had a very homey atmosphere with relaxing couches. The rooms had plenty of space even with the multiple beds together, and we greatly enjoyed the fire pit ready with supplies in the backyard. The kitchen also had ample material to cook with. Overall, my group there had. restful and satisfying time.

Great girls get away

Wonderful Accommodations
