Great property for a family.Well thought out space right next to the beach which is very private and we had it mostly to ourselves.Fully equipped kitchen including the staples like salt, sugar and cooking spray. Only 10 min from the Penneshaw Ferry terminal and about an hours drive from Kingscote and some beautiful attractions that kangaroo Island has to offer.We will definitely be back one day. Thank you

Relaxing Getaway

We really enjoyed staying at the aquamarine! It has all the amenities we needed during our stay and it very well accommodated our 1 yo pooch as well. Definitely recommend booking your stay here for a pleasant getaway.

Aquamarine review

We are doing some work in the area and wanted somewhere to stay that felt lile home. Was perfectly located for us and went fishing locally after work. Would recommend again and intend on staying again as our project in the area continues

Awesome spot!

Stayed here for a work trip with a couple of colleagues and it was absolutely perfect for us. Great accommodation, clean, spacious and had all we needed for our time there. Will stay again should I ever get the chance. Thanks.

Roomy Beach house

Convenient well kept house out of town but close enough to attractions and shops. Kitchen was clean and well equipped. Neighbourhood is quiet. The small beach is just over a sandhill.

Fantastic stay by the beach

Aquamarine was well equipped and well located. We had a great time taking the short walk to the beach, travelling around KI and making trips into Penneshaw for coffee or supplies. Fantastic spot for kids. Anna was a helpful and communicative host.

Aquamarine - the best house on Kangaroo Island

Baudin Beach is a highly romantic, secluded treasure of nature and Aquamarine has been my favourite accommodation - a comfortable, spacious house; very clean and well heated in cold weather; had everything anyone would need. The tranquility and charm of the spot was compounded with the helpful, friendly host. By far my most memorable stay on Kangaroo Island.

Staying at the Aquamarine was an idyllic beach holiday. Pop over the sand dune to a scenic stretch of white sandy beach, which we shared with a pelican each evening. The Aquamarine had all of the amenities and space we needed and was within the perfect driving distance to Penneshaw. A relaxing family beach holidsy.

Wonderful Holiday

We were very happy with the Aquamarine Holiday House.Lots of room with 2 bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed and a very good size fridge. Big family/dining area. Location perfect for short walk to a beautiful beach. The deck was great to sit and listen/ watch the busy bird life including the gorgeous blue wrens. It was a very hot few days on our KI visit and the aircon. was very well appreciated. We definitely recommend a stay there.

A bit disappointing

Location and overall function of the house was good. Plenty of room inside for our group. Bathrooms mouldy, particularly basin in ensuite. Only 6 rolls of toilet paper for 6 people for 8 nights was inadequate, as was the lack of basic stuff like glad wrap, alfoil or paper towel. We thought the yards were overgrown and not like the photos. We enjoyed our stay but thought these were areas for improvement.

Aquamarine At Baudin Beach

We went from a WOW on entry to the property to disapointment very quickly. We were warned the day before our arrival the the A/C was broken but a fan or 2 to replace it would have helped when it got hot in the house. there were many things that were not great, no sharp knives for meal prep, a broken toilet roll holder in the ensuite, only 1 tea towel for 3 people for 4 days, the pillow slips were not ironed made us wonder if the sheets were clean, much maintenance is required generally to this place. not a nice experience at all. I would never book this place again.

Not as advertised

The house is located behind the dune Inside the house was clean to some standard. I wouldn’t usually like to leave negative feedback but the owner was overly irresponsible and unfriendly ! Basically , the property doesn’t look as advertised !The property manager responded with“ what do you want me to Do ?” Or “your lucky as her place is the best place and only a miracle can help you to find another place as good as hers” this was her answer on a 40 degrees day when you asked why the “AC “ is not working as it’s advertised! She also came up with another brilliant solution “ take a walk to the beach “ or “ AC broke 3 days ago , would you really had cancelled your trip if I would have told you that “ at the end she gave us a refund for the “hot day “ - 40 degrees only AFTER we complained to STAYZ. Outside is not what you see as advertised either! It’s grossly disgusting , stink of cigarettes butts under the veranda! Under the house is covered with cardboard ! Perfect attraction for snakes or fire. Kitchen is full of random dirty dishes and pots ! Everything is on top of each other though good luck finding something in there! Overall is not worth the money !

The kitchen had no pantry to store our food and the plates, fry pans etc needed to be cleaned before we could use them. The place definitely needs a good clean. No real secure place for us to keep our dogs.

Very comfortable

Our family of four (and dog) stayed at Aquamarine for 6 nights. We loved our morning walks with the pooch along Baudin Beach. It was a great base to explore the incredible Kangaroo Island. The house ticked all the boxes, was comfortable, warm and plenty of space for us all.
