The new (1994) station at Barrow-upon-Soar. View NW, towards Derby, Chesterfield and the North. These platforms on the Slow lines of the ex-Midland London St Pancras - Leicester and the North main line were opened on 30/5/94, replacing the original station a half mile further NW, which was closed on 4/3/68

Nice and friendly
Nice and comfy room. Friendly and helpful staff. I also liked that you can easily get a snack or drink at reception at any time. I would only suggest to add something else to the complimentary breakfast, some more food options but I can’t complain.
