Call after booking to make sure

My booking was cancelled beforehand as their were doing some refurbishment. Oh well !

Great experience

All very good. Janice greeted us and explained all we needed. Gave us a selection of rooms and son Robert assisted us with cases. Parking on site secure. Breakfast included and was as substantial as we chose. Hosts very accommodating. Explained options for great evening meal at Italian resto. If we were in the area again we would definitely choose to stay again. One of our better experiences with bb.

Lovely guest house

My room was spacious, very comfortable and clean.The breakfast was excellent. The owner is a lovely lady who made me feel welcome and at home.

A lovely guest house with a very friendly hostess

Our hostess was very friendly and extremely helpful. She arranged a table for dinner and the taxi ride to take us there. In the morning she serves a most generous delicious breakfast with great coffee. She gave us a larger room with a king size bed without us asking for it!

A lovely guest house with a warm and welcoming owner. Made to feel at ease from the moment we arrived. Lovely big room, very comfortable beds and quiet! Will definitely stay again.

Perfect experience

Extremely comfortable room. Huge breakfast with fresh berries in addition to cooked breakfast. Staff was amazing. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Greenbank guest house

Spent only the one night at Greenbank Guest House but would happily have stayed longer. The staff were welcoming and friendly and had no issues with us coming or going throughout the duration of our stay. The room was bigger than required and had clean facilities and the free breakfast was greatly enjoyed in the morning. The neighbourhood was ideal as it was close to restaurants and amenities. Barrow station was within walking distance and attractions where only a short taxi drive away. The only negative thing I can say is that the initial impression was less than desirable due to ongoing renovations, however the room itself was more than adequate.

A comfortable B&B in a good location.

Welcoming and friendly. Clean toilet and shower, clean bedding, tea and coffee facilities, TV and wardrobe with dressing gown and slippers.

Decent hotel with great hospitality.

Though we arrived late at night for the check-in, we were welcomed by the hotel staff of the hotel. The rooms were good, nicely decorated but not that big. The washrooms were decent, just few more additions can be done to make it look better. The breakfast was amazing, sumptuous veg breakfast with cereals, fruits, toast, mushrooms, baked beans, Patty, etc. The experience was good, few more enhancements can make the stay much better. Nice hospitality...Enjoyed the stay

Room was double booked so I had no where to stay for the night. Very poor experience. I did not see the room so I have rated this in the middle band

Great in every aspect

Great hosts families, Jenny is very nice and made us just like stay at home. Great home made breakfast, very tasty!! Lot of free parking around the house so no worries of parking problem. Room is spacious and clean. Very comfortible king size bed which had me a great sleep after a long day at lake district. we had two great nights here and definitely will visit again next time!!

Friendly and helpful

Stayed for 11 days for work was made to feel very welcome by Janis and Steve. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was lovely perfect way to start the day. Very knowledgeable of the area and were always happy to help if needed. If in the area I will be staying again. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.
