"Reception was busy, but helpful once the delay was cleared after about 10 mins. Also on two occassions during our stay we tried calling reception unsuccessfully until disconnected.
We enjoyed the free wine tasting hour with Kies and cannt recall the Friday night winery, but was also enjoyed.
Buffet breakfast was superb, a good selection of fruit, cereals and hot food.(need to update your toasters though,very slow!)
The room was excellent, king bed, fantastic bathroom, with aa very useful...

"Staff were sooo lovely in all areas of the hotel. Delicious meal at the bar and gorgeous welcoming fire and sunshine. Room was basic but comfortable and I love that they still gave a folder full of info to read about amenities❤️"

"Everything was perfect. The pool is spectacular. The gardens beautiful and tranquil. Cannot fault this retreat. Folk that stay at these places 1. Please be mindful that folk who book into "retreats" don't want to hear your voice 2. Don't want to see or hear your children. 3. Indeed not suitable for children as there are monsters and wolves and other creatures that will steal them away in the night. "
