"From arrival we felt comfortable and welcome. The cottage and surrounds were very special. The owners have put a lot of thought into comfort and enjoyment for their guests. After taking in the initial beauty and serenity of the place we entered to find a bucket of feed with which to feed the goats. It is rightly named the ‘Country Cottage’ from the wood fire inside to the blue wrens and goats outside. We absolutely loved it and were sad to leave. "We stayed in the Monash Cottage as it is pet friendly, this was a major attraction for our stay. The Monash Cottage is quite a rustic building with a unique history, however the basic nature of the building won’t be for everyone. But it worked really well for our purposes and would stay again. This site is an interesting piece of living history in a rural setting."

"My husband and I , along with our small cavoodle Tashi, enjoyed a relaxing getaway in April. The bush setting was a lovely contrast to our usual beach focussed experiences. We loved the access to fabulous bush walks snd our hosts were happy to share their extensive knowledge of tge area. The accomodation was well situated, very clean and comfortable. "The cottage is clean and have a positive atmosphere. Surrounding nature makes the place very relaxing. We loved the fire place. Carport next to the cottage was so helpful. The direction of getting to the cottage was a bit confusing. One of the reasons we booked this cottage was having a spa but we couldn't use the Spa as it was so cold and by the time it got to the right temperature it was bed time. We were disappointed as we expected a ready to use spa like other places. "
