THE LOCATION

Soi Sukhumvit 8 is a residential lane one turn off Sukhumvit Road, with restaurants on the lane itself and Benjakitti Park at the far end. It runs about a kilometer, and that length is exactly why the apartment is quiet and why the walk out is worth planning.

[Residential Building] This is a residential building, not a hotel. There is no 24-hour front desk and no staff living on site, but messages are answered fast at any hour.

[Genuinely Quiet] The building sits at the dead end of Soi Sukhumvit 8, with no frontage on the main road. It is quiet day and night, and it is the thing guests mention most.

[An Older Building] Nantiruj Tower is an established Bangkok condominium, not a new build. The apartments are large and quiet and the walls are thick; the lobby, corridors and pool deck show their age. Guests who want big and calm are happy here. Guests who want glossy and new are not.

[The Soi and the Shuttle] Soi 8 runs about a kilometer from Sukhumvit Road, so the walk to BTS Nana is about 10 minutes. The building's golf cart covers the soi in about 2 minutes. It runs outbound, the walk back is on foot, and it is occasionally out of service.

[Building Facilities] The pool, gym and sauna are run by building management. They close for maintenance from time to time and we pass on notice as soon as we get it.

[Quiet Hours] 22:00 to 06:00. No parties or events.
