Good location. At the very heart of Silom area and near to every means of transportation and places to visit and go to. PAT PHO night market is just walking distance from the hostel (about 2 minutes). Outside the hostel itself you will have an access to convenient stores (7-11) and street food vendors. The place is awake 24/7.

Hotel near Patpong Night Market and Entertainment area. Quiet. Rooms are ok but not too big. Good place are a few nights if you don’t plan staying in the room all day and are only there to sleep at night

Perfect hostel in a good location

It was a really nice experience staying at C40 winks. Person taking care of the hostel is super nice, friendly and really takes care of your needs. Room was spacious and clean. You can even make use of a small kitchenette. Was a pleasure staying at this hostel. Thanks so much!

One of the quiet hostel. The owner (I think he is..) was very welcoming and friendly, and he was willing to help me concerning places to visit and things to do. Overall, good and clean place to stay in Bankok.

Love it but please indicate FLOOR of the ROOMS

Overall I like this accommodation a lot. Very lovely neighborhood with local morning market, street food, easily accessible because MRT Silom, BTS Sala Daeng and BTS Chong Nonsi are within walkable distance. The interior is simple and lovely. My room which is at the top floor (5th floor) is very spacious with nice natural light. I can have my own "hidden" world up there and enjoy my quiet time. I can even access to the spacious balcony and also roof top, my favourite! Comfortable bed and pillow which gave a very nice sleep during my stay. The only problem is that they should indicate which floor that a particular room is located, since they have 5 floors without elevator. This is to let your hostel guests clearly understand their room location and to decide if they manage to climb up to a certain floor. Luckily i was travelling light with only one small backpack this time. Otherwise, for someone with luggage to climb up to 5th floor, its actually a torture. You don't need to worry that guest will refuse to stay, for instance i'm ok to climb up there and i love to be at 5th floor on my own. But you need to state it clearly so that guest can make a choice and make arrangement according to their need. Hope the water flow can be stronger for shower. Will come back again!

Decent hostel but money taken from room!

Nic was a fabulous and helpful host - we checked in really late at night (130am) and he was able to get us into our room without any issues. Our room was small but clean. The area the hostel is located (in Silom) was great for accessing skytrain and metro. However, there are no safes in the rooms, and we realized after leaving the hostel that several large bills (approximately 4000 baht) had been taken from our hidden money inside of our backpacks while we stayed at C40Winks. The only time the money was not on our person was when we had it in our bags at this hostel (locked in our room). We assume it was the housekeeper or someone else with a key. We messaged the hostel upon realizing the money was missing (via their website and also their Facebook page) and have received no response which is very disappointing. We would strongly recommend that other travelers not leave valuables in their rooms at this hostel, but otherwise it is in an ideal location for tourist activities and transport, it is clean, and Nic could not have been a better host while we were staying there. That being said, we will not be staying there again.

Pleasant, hospitable, helpful and well-located!

This is the first time I stayed in a hostel despite the fact that I had my own room with attached bathroom. It took some time to get use to the door (one card and one key) system but otherwise, my stay was decent, pleasant and the two guys were so hospitable and helpful. When I was leaving, he even gave me a hug. Which receptionsit would do this?! Thank you so much!

Don't judge until you're inside

I arrived at night and it doesn't look very inviting from the outside, but inside was very charming. For the price, it's a great place.

Bed room and bathroom are clean. Especially bed room is modern interior that is my favorite!! Location is semi hermit place on Central Silom in BKK!

Our stay here was great! The staff were really friendly and helpful. Good location, near the Bangkok CBD area and walking distance to BTS Chong Nonsi & Sala Daeng. Only downside was that the room is on the 5th floor, a bit of climbing to do.

Friendly and nice hostel

It is a friendly place with mixed dorms and private rooms option. There are lots of DVD in lobby so those with private room can watch movies at the comfort of own room. Alternatively, even if u stay in dormitory, u can still get the receptionist to go into Internet tv to watch pretty new movies at lobby sofa area. We watched 'Passengers' there on my last night. The hostel is not far from sala deang and chongnonsi bts stations. Also near to patpong night market and happening night life spots. Overall the place is pretty well maintain so it is a value-for-money stay. Though not a fancy 4-5 stars hotel but good enough for budget travelers.
