Attentive property manager

Property was clean, well appointed, and just as described. Living room/ kitchen A/C was not working and manager let us know prior to arrival. Several similar homes were offered by the property manager, but we elected to stay and the manager provided a portable A/C for our use. Technicians arrived as we were checking out to repair. Would return!

Perfect Setting

The Box Guest House was the perfect setting for a Bandera getaway. I wish our winter weather had allowed us to enjoy the expansive deck. There was ample room for the 7 of us. The kitchen was good for cooking.

This place is fabulous.

From the view to the location in Bandera. The setup of the home is fabulous. Would definitely rent this place again. We came for Cowboy Mardi Gras. Had a blast.

Bandera Getaway

My son and I traveled to Bandera with some friends of ours for a weekend getaway. We dove hunted nearby one evening, went to a couple of great restaurants, etc. People and accomodations in town were wonderful!

Family vacation

I wanted to reach out and express my sincere gratitude for the incredible vacation experience my family and I had at your rental property in Bandera, Tx. Seem-less check in. Was great. The attention to detail was remarkable, and it made us feel instantly at home. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location of your rental property was si convenient. Being located so close to various attractions made our vacation all the more enjoyable. We were able to explore the local area, engage in outdoor activities, and create cherished memories together. All within walking distance. I must commend your staff for their exceptional professionalism and responsiveness. They were always available to assist us with any inquiries or concerns, and their friendly demeanor added a personal touch to our experience. My daughter in law left an expensive bathing suit and we reached out to Spencer who quickly responded and got it in the mail to us. (Which we received 🤗) Our only wish was there was water to get to in the river. Once again, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for providing us with such a wonderful vacation retreat. It was a much-needed escape that allowed us to relax, recharge, and bond as a family. Rest assured that we will highly recommend your rental property to our friends and family, and we hope to return for another memorable stay in the future. Wishing you many more happy guests.

Great place for large family or groups of friends

This is a great place for a big family or several friends to come together. The house is roomy with a huge deck outside. Beautiful views in the morning (nice place to have your coffee). It’s also well stocked with books, games, and kitchen supplies. Location is perfect for walking everywhere.

Great place for a group

House is great for a group. There was 7 guys down to ride motorcycles. House has lots of beds huge back patio limitless hot water so worked out perfect for a group. House was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Perfect base for riding the hill country.

Perfect for a girls trip!

Every year a group of us ladies enjoy a trip out for Cowboy Mardi Gras. Being behind the grocery store proved to be more beneficial than bothersome - something we were worried about! The drive to the main part of town was easy & simple. We did not venture down to the river, but it looked easy enough. The only thing we did not realize was that the queen room has a queen bunk & a pull out queen couch. It definitely was not a deal breaker by any means as the bunk room has plenty of space! The kitchen was well stocked & we enjoyed all the areas to be able to lounge. Thanks & we will probably be back next time!

2022 Thanksgiving Week in Bandera TX - Awesome!

I would recommend the Box House for anyone looking for a clean, spacious rental. The home had everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving meal and then enjoy time with family on the back patio. We loved the gas fire pit as it offered such a warm and welcoming get together. The one and only time I had to reach out to the Host - the response was quick and our question resolved.

Birthday in Bandera

We enjoyed the living and kitchen area. The beds were nice. Due to proximity to truck deliveries out front, sound machines in the bedrooms would help a lite sleeper. Update the welcome book. The information is well written but not all accurate. Our hosts were very nice and helpful.

My stay was short but very comfortable

My stay was short but very relaxing and comfortable while I was helping with a fundraiser. It is in close proximity to everything in town and conveniently walking distance to grocery store. The house was very roomy, clean, and quiet even though the street it’s in can get quite busy. I had friends pull up on their bikes and I wouldn’t here them till they knocked I. The door. I will definitely try to book this place again with family and friends.

Had a great time

We had so much fun the house was great!! It was very nice and roomy the back deck was great with plenty of room . Not a lot of water due to drought but they sent a list of places to go sit and they were great. Would definitely rent again.
