"The general cleaning of the room wasn’t the best, dirty mirrors, a lot of dirty marks on the walls and debris on the floor. The linen and towels were all clean but the shower was poorly cleaned. Overall not very presentable inside the room."

"The room was clean, spacious and included the amenities that you want (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, tea/coffee, iron, hairdryer, wifi, aircon, tv, fridge). The venue is quite old but they have maintained it to be a worthy place to stay. And, I would stay here again. Across from Doncaster Shoppingtown ... means easy access to restaurants (cafe's and foodhall) and supermarkets. I was in an upstairs room, which had a nice little balcony that had nice views of the city and the sunset. ...

"Was unable to contact reception before arriving at the hotel for an after hours check in (10pm). Was later (the next day) advised that reception was in fact, staffed until midnight however, during business hours (I called at 5pm to confirm) I was advised that reception is closed at 8pm and that I should call the reception number to be let in. I was very far from Box Hill so I called 9 times, went straight to a "no message can be left on this service". Expedia support team were unable to contact...

"Guests were very noisy. No staff to report to. No person even at 11Am checkout . Couldn’t sleep much. "

"Property was miss represented. Check in after 2 but office closes before 4. Had bugs in room. Furniture was at least 50 years old. Would not recommend "

"Tiny room was looked over by adjoining building so curtains always closed. No coffee table so food or drink had to be consumed whilst sitting on the bed. No writing paper or pen. No soap holder on vaniity so grabbed a plate from the kitchen to hold soap. Room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. "

"BED BUGS, POOR PLUMBING, NO CLEANING, AND NO STAFFING... We booked a 7 night stay here, and the first day once I had a shower the drain was backing up and filling the entire bathroom floor with water. The hot water tap only gets luke warm. After a couple of nights I started to notice bites on my daughter's body after waking up, I brushed it off initially and then looked under the bed which is covered up with layers of foam and bedding stained in blood from bed bugs and other people.......
