The house is very cozy and the views are breathtaking. Large deck to sit and enjoy. There is quite a few steps to get down to the beach but they’re maintained very well with comfortable railings and are very easy to use.Even though it is an older house it has all the amenities that you might need. Kitchen is fully stocked not only with cooking equipment but also with tons of spices and condiments. Even mini coffee/ tea bar.The process of booking was smooth and pleasant. The owner goes out of her way to keep you updated and informed of what’s happening in the area and answers any questions immediately.As an extra touch she will even send a text to wish you a great day!Our family had a wonderful stay!!

The cottage was the most well equipped and thoughtfully appointed I have ever stayed in! The kitchen was well stocked with spices and some lovely welcome items from our host. The extensive lovely dishware, serving pieces and equipment available made cooking and serving a pleasure. The beds and baths were all comfortable with very nice linens. Views included Ranier and we had a near daily visit from a seal or two. Waterfront walks were great and a real high point for us!! Some very interesting geology was noted when the tide was out!! A must see! We enjoyed our visits to Bloedel Reserve, The Japanese Exclusion Museum, shopping and eating in town as well as several lovely hikes. We would definitelyn return for another visit to Bainbridge's Cozy Cottage.

Property was great. Owner went over backwards to help, answer questions, provide suggestions, stock the house with goodies. I've never had so much help at a VRBO! mThe view was worth a Million dollars; we even saw Mt renier.

This is a beautifully appointed updated older cottage on the waterfront with a straight-on view of Mt. Ranier. It’s a great destination place with kayaks and e-bikes that we did not have time to use. The owner/manager is very attentive.

We had an amazing three night stay at Cozy Cottage The cottage itself is so welcoming and is stocked with everything you could possibly want. Including lots of goodies which were so appreciated after a very long journey. The cottage has stunning views of mount Rainier and views of the Seattle skyline from the fire pit which were spectacular. Deb the host was the hostess with the mostess!! She made for a wonderful stay. Thank you Deb.

Peace and Quiet

From beginning to end, what a wonderful visit. In and around the neighborhood and throughout the island, we heard birds, watched ferries come and go, walked in the woods, and wondered what it would be like to live here. It’s just a 30 minute ferry ride away from our home in Seattle, but this lovely, comfortable, peaceful home made us feel like we travelled far away for a restful break from routine.

The Best of the Pacific Northwest

If your travel plans bring you to the Seattle area, do yourself a favor and stay at this charming & cozy beachfront property. Located above the Puget Sound with a panoramic view of Seattle, Mt. Rainier and various islands, you will see eagles, seals and other wildlife in their natural habitat as you watch ferries and other activities on the water. The home is nestled in the woods and stocked with anything you could possibly need including binoculars. The hosts also provided a bottle (two) of wine, treats and some basic items in the fridge. They were super responsive and a joy to work with.We live in the Pacific Northwest & have not found as beautiful a location as this. We'll definitely rent this lovely place again. Enjoy your stay!

This was our second time staying at this perfect property. There's absolutely nothing like waking up surrounded by mist and hummingbirds. Deb is an unbelievably gracious host. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to the island.
