Our detached, modern forest cottage (built in 2025) is located on the Baars estate, in the middle of a beautiful wooded area. Wake up as the birds greet the day and enjoy peace, space and complete privacy. From the cottage you can walk or cycle directly into nature.

The property has its own parking space for two cars. during your stay you can use the facilities of the nearby Residence De EESE, such as the swimming pool, catering and leisure facilities.

Discover Giethoorn, the Venice of the Netherlands, the historic Hanseatic city of Zwolle and the cozy Meppel. In summer, the atmospheric Thursday Meppeldagen are highly recommended.

Due to the increased risk of fire, charging electric cars at the home is not allowed. Public charging points are available in the area.

The cottage is not suitable for youth or party groups.
Step inside this atmospheric forest cottage of 75 m2, where peace, nature and comfort come together. The bright living room is cosily furnished with a comfortable seating area, dining table and tv. After a day of walking, cycling or boating in the Giethoorn area, this is the perfect place to relax.

Through the French doors you walk directly to the terrace, where you can enjoy the peace, fresh forest air and the singing of birds in the middle of the green.

The modern open kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, coffee maker and kettle. This way you can easily prepare a delicious breakfast or a cozy meal.

The cottage has two bedrooms each with two single beds (80 x 200 cm) and a modern bathroom with shower and toilet.

The spacious private terrace of 25 m2 offers a wonderful place to start the day with a cup of coffee or relax. For extra comfort, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating are provided.

The house is non-smoking and one dog is welcome.
