Disappointing Condition Compared to ListingWe recently stayed at this Avila property and unfortunately our experience did not match the expectations set by the listing.Upon arrival, we discovered an active water leak in the master bedroom. While someone did come to address the leak, it left behind a strong lingering odor that made the room difficult to use for the remainder of our stay.In addition, trash remained on the front porch for the entire duration of our visit and was never removed. It created an unpleasant first impression every time we entered the property.Beyond those issues, the overall condition of the home appeared significantly more worn than represented online. There were broken cabinets, holes in the walls, and several maintenance items that made the property feel neglected.For the price point of this rental, we expected a home that was well maintained and accurately represented in the listing photos. Unfortunately, the staging and presentation online felt very different from the reality of the property.We did reach out to the management company directly to give them the opportunity to address our concerns before posting this review. Hopefully these issues can be resolved so future guests have a better experience.
