  • In a private mansion from the end of the 18th century, in the heart of the historic center of Avignon.
    Close to all amenities, tourist places, theaters, restaurants..

    Apartment N°IV can accommodate two people and is located on the second floor without elevator.

    - Air-conditioned, with a wifi connection.
    - A bedroom bed (140x190)
    -A lounge area
    - A fully equipped kitchen:
    Dishwasher, Oven, induction hob, Microwave, refrigerator, Nespresso coffee machine etc...
    As well as a bathroom with a shower.

    Linen is provided

    The entrance to the premises will be 100% autonomous thanks to a key box
    From 4 p.m. and departure no later than 10 a.m.

    Paid parking lots of Les Halles at 350 m and Palais parking lot 800m on foot.
    Free parking, parking for the Italians outside the ramparts with a free shuttle to and from the apartment.

This is an amazing property. 11 out of 10 Perfect location. The check in process was seemless. The facility was excellent. The host was alway responded quickly. Would recommend to anyone travelling to Avignon

The apartment was a beautiful jewel box with lovely appointments. The building was elegantly restored and maintained. It was comfortable for 2. Everything was perfect. The location was ideal for us - close to the shopping and historical sites as well as great cafes and Les Halles. A great value for our 3 nights in Avignon.

Beautifully renovated space with attention to history. Bed was comfortable, apartment was clean, the dual head shower was wonderful, air conditioning kept us comfortable in the summer heat. A small space but plenty for 2 people, definitely would stay again.

Small but fine for a couple, 40 stairs but they are not steep. Plenty of places to eat nearby and a Carrefore Express 100m away. We used Palais Des Papes for parking, very tight entry/exit like most Indigo parking it seems!

Perfect spot for a couple

Great location in the quaint old town. Easy to walk to restaurants in that area. About a 20 minute walk from the train station however so you may want to consider that if coming in by train.

Séjour merveilleux dans cette suite n°4....Tout est fait pour que l'on s'y sente bien dès notre arrivée. Calme absolu grâce aux doubles vitrages, obscurité grâce aux doubles volets ( intérieurs et extérieurs ), beauté des matériaux, décoration...et surtout l'accueil des propriétaires si adorables... Ma nouvelle adresse pour tous mes futurs séjours à Avignon...

Perfect Spot

Easy access. Elegant decor. All very new inside. Host is exceptional. Proximity to a Carrefour City store, laundry, dining from simple to gourmet. Very comfortable. We would stay here again.

Don't miss this gem!

We fell in love with this place. Host was fabulous at communicating and very helpful with our inquiries. The places was beautiful, quaint and very clean. The accommodations were comfortable and classy. It was in a beautiful part of town. She even left a large cold bottle of water and a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. We couldn't have been happier with our stay there.

Perfect Place

The location is phantastic in a lovely authentic square with lots of wonderful little shops and our favourite cafe. Fabienne is a very helpful and sympathetic host. With her warm personality she makes one feel at home immediately. The flat is absolutely gorgeous: furnished with great taste in a nostalgic flair and at the same time equipped with all the mod cons you need. The best place we ever stayed in. Would love to come again.

Séjour culturel à Avignon

Fabienne et son mari sont des hôtes très sympathiques et arrangeants. L’appartement est ravissant et raffiné. La seule amélioration à apporter serait de mettre une vraie table pour pouvoir déjeuner plus confortablement. Au pied de l’appartement se trouve une excellente boulangerie et un fromager et traiteur. Sur la place des Carmes, des restaurants variés. L’appartement est idéalement situé et calme.

Great stay in great location.

I had a wonderful time in Avignon. A large part of the reason was staying in this classic building in an area that is close to everything, yet feels like a little homely precinct (with few tourists)that you're part of. My room was very cosy as a solo traveller. As to host Fabienne, I can't thank her enough for her kindness and generosity. She helped me when I needed dental assistance and went to great lengths to access it for me. I wil remember my stay with great fondness. pplocale that has few tourists

Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben und liegt sehr zentral im historischen Teil der Stadt. Alles ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Die Anreise ist nicht ganz unproblematisch, weil die Altstadt versucht den Individualverkehr herauszunehmen. Gerade bei viel Gepäck ist das nicht ganz einfach. Aber der öffentliche (und kostenlose) P&R Parkplatz „les Italiens“ ist mit einem kostenlosen Shuttle in die Altstadt verbunden. Es ist klar, dass in die Wohnung kein größeres Bett gepasst hätte, aber wir haben es als klein und kurz empfunden, auch wenn die Länge in Frankreich wohl nicht unüblich ist. Grundsätzlich ist die Wohnung klar zu empfehlen.

Lovely apartment in Avignon

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Avignon. The apartment is gorgeous, thoughtfully designed and had everything we needed. Finding the place was fairly easy, we walked from the train station - there are some areas of cobble stone streets. Check-in was easy too. The apartment was very clean. The apartment is on the top floor, up about 3 or 4 flights of stairs (no elevator) but thankfully my husband carried our luggage up and down. The location is excellent, the small square out front of the apartment was cute and we loved watching the locals at the restaurants from our windows. Everything is very close by including a grocery store, great bakery (Mimi) and restaurants. We loved Restaurant Le Cul De Poule around the corner which has a patio on a covered terrace. We found the whole city centre to be 10-20 minute walk from the apartment to all sights and shops. Avignon is a very beautiful, charming and quaint city full of character and surrounded by old medival walls. It was our favourite place to visit compared to Paris, Lyon and Marsaille. We highly recommend staying at Fabienne's apartment and enjoying the wonders of Avignon.

Perfection

This little gem of a property was wonderful and a highlight to my four-day stay in Avignon to attend the Festival d'Avignon. Fabrienne the host, was extremely clear in all her communications, and when I arrived at the home, I had photographed the codes to get into the house as well as the key box. Security camera, doorbell system, you enter into a beautifully restored and decorated foyer. I entered my apartment and Fabrienne knocked at my door to welcome me and to answer any questions and to bring up one large suitcase. The photos are accurate. Air conditioning (thank goodness as it was extremely hot during my stay), kitchenette, comfy bed, exceptionally clean, every detail was taken into consideration. I would move in if I could! You are in the heart of the old city and during this time (July) the festival is going on and the city is packed. The windows are double paned and you cannot hear anything inside the apartment. I would definitely stay here again and appreciate the care that Fabrienne has taken to make sure my stay was perfect.

Wow! What an amazingly beautiful apartment I was fortunate enough to rent for a two week stay in the charming city of Avignon. Fabienne was the perfect hostess. Her eye for detail with each of her apartments is commendable. There is not a thing she has forgotten...even down to leaving two guest umbrellas in the foyer of the building in case it rains. The location is perfect...central, next to grocery stores, deli, restaurants...our favorite was across the street/Bar bistro. Les Halles market is around the corner. Palace de Papes a five minite walk. Coffee shops and pain au chocolat every morning. La Suite no 3 definitely was a highlight of the trip to Provence. It was "a home away from home." Fabienne....many thanks for your hospitality.
