"We had a wonderful stay at Sally’s cottage. It was so private, peaceful (we don’t count the birds and occasional sheep) and had everything we could have asked for. Sunrise on the front porch with a coffee, kangaroos and birds, to sunset and the stars and satellites in the amazing outdoor bath.We got to experience the farm and watch the shearing too! Sally is a fabulous host and left us with gifts and herbs and tomatoes from her garden! And the beautiful artwork on the walls from local artists...

"From the cows to the well appointed kitchen to the spectacular birdlife and beautiful surrounds this location has it all and more. To sit on the veranda with a coffee at a place like this ticked one off my bucket list. "

"We booked this property as it could accommodate a large group. We had 10 adults and 12 kids and there was plenty of room for all of us inside and out. The kids had an absolute blast with none of them wanting to leave after our 2-night stay. The gardens are huge with plenty of space to kick around balls etc. The outside deck had a lounge area and a dining area then there is also an BBQ area with a Pizza oven with another dining area. "Our family loved our weekend at Highlands Lake House. Sam was amazing to communicate with. Location stunning. House had great atmosphere. We loved the log fire and fire pit. Highly recommend. Only comment would be to Stayz that it would improve information for people with additional needs if you listed each accessibility feature rather than just a generic ‘wheelchair accessible’ comment.
