Great SoCo Location and Beautiful Home

Great SoCo location, walking distance to So Co restaurants/shops/Lady Birdy Lake. Beautiful modern home /great layout for families with or without a pet. Loved the easy access to yard for our dog. Quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend

Great house in great neighborhood!

The house had everything our family of four (parents and two grown children) could need. Privacy (everyone had their own bathroom!) and fully stocked. The neighborhood is the best - lots of fun to walk around. Many parks and just a few minute walk from restaurants, music and shopping.

Great stay

House was perfect for a girls weekend. Very clean and spacious. Everyone had their own bathroom. House stocked with many amenities. Neighborhood close to S Congress, easy walk to restaurants. Safe to jog/walk. Neighbors very quiet. Couldn't recommend more.

Great location Layout of house is great. Cleaning is an issue as there were clothes from past guests and cockroaches. Bathrooms are dated and as such do not look clean

Girls Get Away

The house is well built with a beautiful courtyard with big, mature trees that provide privacy and are beautiful. The house is as advertised/pictured. Well insulated house so I didn't hear friends talking downstairs after I went to bed nor did I hear the early morning risers. Well situated to walk around South Congress' shops & restaurants. Quiet street

Location location location

This house was perfect for me and 7 buddies. We wanted a place to play golf in the morning, walking distance to restaurants to and afterwards listen to live music. All the best restaurants, live music in Austin just a short walk from this place. Only a 15 minute drive to the golf courses we played. Each bedroom was comfortable and enough space for all. Great house! The hosts were wonderful to work with. Best trip ever! Thank you Park Lane Modern.

Great location, great house

We loved the neighborhood and the house worked well for a couple with 2 young kids and their grandparents. Kitchen is well equipped but the freezer was not working during our stay. Owner installed a stand-alone freezer but that still didn't give us ice cubes. Outdoor area was also nice.

Peaceful

Nice, quiet and peaceful. Two bedrooms upstairs had en suite bathrooms and the bedroom downstairs shares the bathroom down the hallway with guests. A few things could have made the stay perfect: The stove was really tricky turning it on and always took several tries to get it lit. We also would love to have had a blender for our morning breakfast smoothies. Also, you have to go all the way around to the back of the unit to unlock the door instead of having a lock on the doors that are right there in the front yard.

Perfect

Property is a large condo, but the way it is set up, it feels like a house. We never saw or heard people from the adjacent condo. The condo is a great size and each of the three bedrooms has a bathroom. It was well stocked, had everything we need and then some. We were there during a heat advisory, temps up to 108, and the AC was perfect! Just 2 blocks from south Congress, asking to shopping/restaurants was a breeze. I also appreciated we weren’t given a long list of chores at check out (I always leave a place tidy, but hate when asked to do laundry, etc). The only “complaint” I have (and it’s not really a complaint, just preference) would be more/cozier seating in the living room).

Comfortable, beautiful well appointed home in the very BEST location!

We recently stayed at this wonderful house for a family wedding. There were 6 of us with each couple having their "own space" without feeling cramped or on top of each other. The house is laid out so brilliantly, every detail is so well thought out. My elderly parents were able to use the main floor queen bedroom walk out to the backyard, and a full washroom located right beside it. There are two other bedrooms on the second floor. A queen bedroom with full ensuite washroom and walkout balcony. The primary suite upstairs is beyond stunning with a king bed, incredible private balcony over looking the backyard and a huge ensuite with soaker tub, walk in shower and double sink vanity. All of the beds were extremely comfortable with great linens. The kitchen was well appointed and laid out so well. The living area was comfortable. Everything in this house was in excellent condition, super clean and fully functional. We cannot rave enough about the area and location of this house. Although you are only around 400 meters from South Congress, the area is so quiet and peaceful. The street has huge mature trees that are protected. You will notice that some of the homes in the area have literally built their homes incorporating the trees into the actual building design! You truly couldn't ask for a better location than this house. We could walk to the coolest bars, live music, funky shops, delicious restaurants, all within a few blocks of South Congress. Absolutely zero complaints!

Nice townhome in great location

The location and neighborhood here can’t be beat. Just a couple block walk to all the amenities on South Congress. The townhouse itself is very nice and modern with three comfortable bedrooms and three bathrooms. There are two large oak trees in the backyard. The kitchen however leaves a lot to be desired. The appliances are on their last leg in life. The gas stove and oven are both very difficult to light and the oven shut itself off in the middle of cooking our Thanksgiving turkey. The kitchen is also very poorly equipped with the basics only. We purchased a whisk and an oven thermometer and left for future guests. The refrigerator actually broke down while we were there and leaked all over the floor. We were lucky we did not get sick because it was running in the upper 40’s to low 50’s. They replaced it the morning we checked out while we were still there. Both lights above the master bath vanity were burnt out. At first we thought we could not find the switch for them but found one bulb and replaced it. Maintenance here is not up to snuff. For $600 per night we expect more. This could be a great place with the proper attention.
