This is the best location! So easy to walk to South Congress, as well as the path at Lady Bird Lake. Super quiet street and our Ubers could find us easily. Our other option we were considering was a condo on Rainey Street (loud with a big party atmosphere) and I’m SO GLAD that we picked this one. I appreciated the quiet neighborhood here. Communication with the host was awesome as well as his flexibility. He has earned his 10 star rating for sure!

We stayed here for 3 nights for a wedding at south Congress hotel. The apartment was perfect for a couple. Great location walkable to south Congress and easy access to the rest of the city. We would happily stay here again next time we're in Austin.

Spacious room with all of the amenities needed. Great location and easy access to many south/downtown sites of Austin. Easy communication with the owner, who allowed early room access to help with our arrival day plans. Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect location for sightseeing and walking around Austin. The room set up worked for us, all the essentials were available. Laundry was in the garage but readily accessible. Parking was on street but always available. Nice quiet neighborhood. Hosts were very responsive.

The property was perfect! Access to the property and laundry was easy. There are many shops nearby and the SOCO location is prime! The space itself was adorable and perfect for us (2)! The host was responsive and greeted upon check-in. We highly recommend this property!

We had a wonderful stay at South River City. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The location was in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood and yet very convenient (walking distance) from shops and great places to dine. Cute neighborhood stay

Jon and Kate were (are!) wonderful hosts. The apartment is perfectly located in a quaint neighborhood of Austin, walking distance to Congress and Lady Bird Lake. I felt like I was living in a tree house, the property has a lovely tree canopy for optimal shade on hot days. Thank you again!

The apartment was clean, the location was good, quiet beautiful neighborhood. John was very thoughtful and accommodating when our flight was cancelled, resulting in a later arrival. It was a good choice for our Austin visit.

Beautiful Place in a Lovely Neighborhood

Safe and convenient stay close to SOCO and downtown Austin

We stayed here for a couple weeks during SXSW. John was super responsive and even had some welcome treats in the unit when we arrived. Very nice neighborhood and pretty quiet for the city. The bed was a bit firm for our tastes but not bad. It was veryeasy to walk to many places.

Great location

We had a great stay with John in his South Congress location. It was so easy to get downtown, whether you walk it, via Lady Bird Lake walkover located right outside of his neighborhood. The apartment was very clean and ready for the unexpected cold weather that we woke up to on our first night. The bed was comfortable. We made breakfast every morning and found street parking every night we were there. The washer and dryer was the very nice to have and made our decision to stay here this trip and our next one. This was our 2nd stay at this property. For us…the location and accommodations fit our needs perfectly! Austin Film Festival Stay

Beautiful quiet residential neighborhood with easy access to downtown Austin by bus, Uber/Lyft, or walking. We Appreciated the bottled water, coffee, and shower essentials. Found an amazing NYC eyeglass place Moscot within short walk, along with other upscale shops like Hermes. Everything was perfect. Thank you!

Great place to stay

We loved are stay. Located in a great neighborhood close to plenty of shopping and places to eat. Within 10 minutes of Zilker park and UT. The host was awesome. I highly recommend this place and i will be back.

Great Location!

The unit is above a detached garage and is the perfect size for 1-2 people. Laundry is in the garage below the unit. I didnt cook anything on this trip but the kitchen seemed functional. The close proximity to south congress and downtown while feeling like you are in a quiet neighborhood is the best part.
