We had a lovely stay! Perfect location and great property. The company was very responsive to our needs and readily available. Lots of kitchen items and plenty of supplies like dish washer pellets, toilet paper, garbage bags, etc. I love that it was not stingy with need items! We visit Austin for spring break every year and the area of this property is ideal for us. It’s easy to buzz around to various parks, restaurants, etc. Pieous, Summer Moon, and HEB are moments away. The images in the listing of the master bedroom are no joke. That is 2 queens and a twin bed. I wish it had been a king bed but it’s clear the property is meant for a full crew. We went just as our family of 6. Lots of beds for our small posse. ;) Ideal for multiple families or relatives.

AC wasn't working upstairs when we got there, front and back porch were filthy, although they came the next day and cleaned it all up which I greatly appreciate! The water out of the refrigerator literally smelled like sewage in my wife drank it and she was not happy. Anyway, kind of seemed like a privately owned house that is used privately but they rent it out on the side.

Overall really enjoyed the property. Outdoor spaces (pool, hot tub, fire pit, sitting area with TV, grill, hammocks, corn hole, wrap around patio, lawns) with serene views that included deer—all outstanding. The house is great. We enjoyed cooking dinner, playing pool and games and watching movies. Bedrooms and bathrooms were fine. Nice quiet neighborhood not too far from Austin or Fredericksburg.

Guys Trip

The Hill Country Hideaway was better than advertised! We came with 14 guys and had more rooms, beds, bathrooms and overall space than we needed. The backyard was my favorite part of the house. It is the perfect to relax and hang out with friends/family. I could not be happier with this rental and would definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect for our needs

We stayed here for the 4/8/2024 solar eclipse that would be visible from the backyard. We had a very hard time finding a place in our price range because everyone was jacking up the prices (understandably) for this once-in-lifetime event. Even at 4x the regular price, this place was in the median for what we were seeing, so we snagged it and then waited a year for our trip! There was a lot of planning and logistics involved, so we were very happy that Walker Luxury Rentals made everything on their end so easy for us. It was nice to not have a huge list of chores on checkout day. I guess they stay pretty booked, because someone was there right at 11 to start cleaning, so be aware that checkout time is very rigid. But otherwise, the stay was so relaxing and we loved the pool and hot tub! Lots of space for our group of 17 to eat and drink and play games all around the house. A close drive to H.E.B. and a number of good breweries and BBQ places. Only 30 minutes to downtown Austin. Would absolutely stay here again, especially at the regular price. :) The other thing they are very serious about is quiet hours. They start at 10 pm, so plan accordingly. It's because of how much sound travels in the area. It's pretty crazy how much it does. You can hear voices from several blocks away. But the windows and doors are thick enough so you can still be loud inside the house. If you're with a big group, plan accordingly. If you follow all the rules, you will have a terrific time here.

Hillside Hideaway Hooray

This house was a great retreat for our family of 18 over a 10-day period for a family wedding and related celebrations. In addition to housing our whole gang comfortably, we hosted two functions of up to 50 additional people. The house accommodated all events very easily.

Awesome Stay !!

Property was as described and even better !! Friends and I had a wonderful time as it was back in the country and extremely secluded and quiet. Hot tub and pool was a major plus as you could sit in the hot tub and watch current sporting events on the big screen TV. Maid service every morning, and they even left us a warm box of cookies. Walker Luxury Vacation Rentals was a phenomenal host for out trip to Austin. Thank you !!

Turning 50 with friends

The house was was great for a laid back weekend with my girlfriends for my 50th birthday. Perfect size, very clean and looks just like the pictures! If there was one negative, I would say the “quiet hours” (after 10pm). We are by no means a rowdy late night group. However, we did think we would be a little more isolated like in the country and not have to worry about being too loud. Otherwise great time and we would definitely return.

Great outdoor space

This property worked great for 14 adults. Beds are very comfortable great large table to seat everyone the best outdoor space. Unfortunately it was cold when we were there so inside more but still doable plenty of towels and dishes, 2 refrigerators and coffee makers which was nice for a large group. A few suggestions would be better seating indoor living room, better pool cues, microwave in odd spot. Otherwise everything was great I highly recommend this property

Amazing outdoor space

We had a group of ~20 staying and spend almost the entire time outdoors. The pool, hot tub, firepit, outdoor games, and BBQ area were all perfect for the the still 90+ degree September weather. The house itself had everything we needed for sleeping and cooking - the interior was very nice overall, a little scratched up around the edges but that actually made me feel a little better about having a big group there for a bachelor party.

Amazing house!

We had a group of girlfriends stay here for a long weekend and it was such an amazing property!!! The house is even better in person - the back yard space with the yard, pool, grill & games was incredible. The home was updated and beautiful inside - the bedrooms were set up perfectly to accommodate a larger group of girls. The property management company was so attentive to our group and made sure everything was great the entire time we were there. We would definitely stay there again if/when we come back to Austin! Thank you!!!

Amazing location for reunion of friends!

So lucky to have found this home. 15 of my friends from CA and NYC spent the weekend here and despite the 25-30 min drive downtown , no one minded because the home was so amazing and we spent so much time in the pool.
