This listing did not have a pool as stated and when asked for access to the cowboy tub, they claimed this was part of the listing however I was not able to access it. I would need to access the community pool. I left and did not stay. Big disappointment and the argument that the management had was ridiculous.... saying that the listing was valid due to the cowboy tub that was not accessible. When I asked for cancellation, the team at Portoro is now forcing me to deal with my credit card company.

This property was exactly as advertised. Super comfortable - both for hanging out and sleeping and great location (about .5 from Congress Ave where there are great restaurants and shopping). This was our first time visiting Austin and if we come back (which we'd love to!) we'll definitely check to see if this place is available.

Anniversary Weekend

Great place to stay...we really enjoyed the weekend. Convenient to everything in south Austin. Quiet. Parking steps from the door. Comfy & cozy. The owner/management provided great communication. I recommend it.

Wonderful weekend getaway

Great SoCo stay!

This is a cute property, well maintained and clean, and walking distance to South Congress. I couldn't be happier with my stay! Definitely roomy enough for 2, with separate spaces when needed. Wifi supported working here with no problems. Communication with management was clear. Would stay again! with my stay

Great location in Austin

Great property, wonderful location. Walking distance to many great restaurants and shopping and bat bridge. Short ride to other Austin features. Never been to Austin before, but now I understand the importance of having a place with parking! One smaill suggestion, you could add a hairdryer.

Perfect stay in Austin!

My best friend and I stayed here while on a girls’ trip to Austin. The neighborhood is beautiful and allows for easy access to South Congress and downtown. The property had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. Communication with the owner was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Spot, Great Location

This was a really comfy spot! The location was convenient to my convention downtown yet removed enough to feel peaceful. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was great. Easy check in and check out and I felt safe traveling as a woman by myself.

I grew up in Austin and back for a visit. Staying in Travis Heights is a great location. I felt safe. The place is very clean, very stylish, very comfortable. I will look for availability here for my next visit. I loved it!

Great Neighborhood - Close to Everything

Positives -Very comfortable bed -$8 Lyft ride to 6th St or South Congress -Very quiet neighborhood -Owner was very responsive and helpful -Kitchen has everything you need -Easy access with keypad Negatives -Parking spot is a little tight and on a pretty steep hill -Speed bumps throughout the neighborhood were annoying -No dresser in the bedroom so everything had to stay in suitcases -Shower door doesn't shut completely -Very small but perfect for two people

We really enjoyed our stay at this location! Loved the neighborhood overall. Great location and access to numerous Austin destinations and attractions! The unit was very cute and efficient overall. We would definitely recommend this location and hope to stay there again on future Austin trips!

Great location, nice and quiet

Very nicely decorated private Guest house. We stayed for a long weekend and it was a great location to South Congress and the airport. Check in super easy. We were able to contact The manager easily and get an early check in as well.
