Nice weekend

Nice bike/walking trail nearby, great for our dogs. Yard was well enclosed, a couple of gaps under the fence but no problem for our large dogs. Old home, but remodeled, comfortable.

Weekend trip in Austin

Great stay for the weekend. As a single mom with an eight and ten year old, we felt very safe in this neighborhood. Very quiet at night. Less than 20 minute drive to Zilker Park. We discovered this amazing cafe called Sour Duck, must go. I would definitely stay here again but I would bring a portable fan for background noise at night. It was super quiet and we prefer a fan noise in the background. Thanks Jason!

Scammed

He told me that someone had peed the bed and that I had to pay a fee to get it cleaned. The cleaning lady told him that the mattress and sheets were completely soaked through. However I told him I stripped all the beds per his instructions, after arguing for a while he finally admitted I was right and the sheets were stripped. But still charged me the fee and I had insurance so he wasn’t supposed to charge me anyways. Also, if I had stripped the sheets, why would someone have peed on only the mattress? He is a scammer that stole my money.

Great house!

Amazing location! We were never more then 20mins or less from where we wanted to go! We had two adults and one child and were very comfortable! Very clean and well kept, the kitchen is very nice and the appliances were modern and functional! Definitely going to check this house’s availability on our next visit!

Quiet Neighborhood just outside Austin Downtown

My husband and I used this property to work remotely from Austin TX for a few weeks. We were both able to work throughout the day with no wifi issues. The neighborhood is nice and quiet with a great walking path at the end of the street which can take you to a nice coffee spot. We happened to stay here during the big winter storm and Jason could not have been more helpful and kind throughout that ordeal! This is conveniently located within short driving range to many restaurants and a great walking neighborhood for dog owners. An overall great stay in Austin.

So-so rental

At first glance its a nice rental. Its clean and tidy. And actually after the first night stay we did not notice anything out of place, but we stayed for several nights. A vast majority of the outlets do not work. The heater does not work. I had read someone else's review about the floors and didn't notice at first. Then a couple of the mats were moved from general foot traffic, and well underneath them are huge in dents/holes in the floors. The shower was extremely hard to figure out how to use and I would not suggest anyone over 6 foot using it. The shower head is fixed extremely low. The fridge wasn't cleaned out. The keys also aren't labeled and it was frustrating every time checking each of the keys for three different locks. One of the major issues we encounter was that the only real bed was concave in the middle. I typically do not even leave reviews, but I wish I would have know all of this before renting this home away. Also I was worried I would not receive my security deposit back due to the all preexisting damages. Fortunately I did receive it 100% back. Also the owner does respond promptly to requests and texts. Though I hope the owner reads this and makes changes, because otherwise it is a lovely little house its just in dire need of tlc.
