The host consistently responded promptly, professionally, and cordially to my messages and was accommodating of specific requests. The building was clean, comfortable, and spacious—more spacious than it appeared to me in the pictures. I didn't have occasion to interact with the neighbors in the adjoining duplex unit, but my spouse said they were very friendly. We never heard them once through the wall or anything, and, while we adhered to the quiet hours, our kids certainly had their noisy moments during the daytime (our interventions notwithstanding), and, to our knowledge, the neighbors never complained. The point is: the combination of soundproofing and cool neighbors seems to be working well.Because we were in town to visit family, we didn't do a lot of exploring the immediate surroundings. We did enjoy playing at Wooten Neighborhood Park just a few blocks away, though. We also had a great time at Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park, little under 15-minute drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would strongly consider staying here again on future visits, which I think speaks highly in its favor.
