Everything was excellent! The Place is so comfortable, stunning, clean and so relaxing. Beautiful views. From waking up to all the sun shining in all the windows if you like or having the blinds closed and sleeping in. Or relaxing in the hot tub to sipping your coffee on the Deck swings! Simply Great accomodations. Thank you also to the amazing Property Manager Constance for all her help from start to finish. I look forward to staying again.

Beautiful stay in River Retreat

We had another fantastic stay at this property. It’s very beautifully appointed and well located to Augusta’s attractions. This was our second stay at River Retreat and we highly recommend it. Very, very clean and it feels like you’re staying in a home featured in Southern Living Magazine!

Best kept secret in Augusta

I have stayed at this gem several times and will always look to see if the dates are available for any future visits. I cannot say enough great things about this home. You won't be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

Excellent!

Great place. Sparkling clean, comfortable, eclectic vintage decor. Some noise from the bridge traffic but didn’t bother us at all, abated in the evening. Sat in the chair swings and listened to music from a concert at the amphitheater across the river. Hot tub is a nice bonus.

Cozy, Beautiful, and Serene

My husband and I stayed here recently, and it was just right for us. It was well decorated and stocked, surprisingly private for being right by downtown, and incredibly relaxing. Constance was wonderful and helpful, a lovely lady. Everything about it was easy and straightforward. We really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to doing so again in the future.

Perfect way to experience Augusta

Friend and I came down for the weekend to visit another mutual friend, and we selected this place, because we thought it would be cool to be near downtown in the river. This couldn’t be more accurate, the architecture of this place it was fascinating, there were amazing views, and incredible natural light. We had more fun hanging out here than at several of the bars and restaurants we visited within walking distance. I definitely hope to stay here again!

Masters weekend

A perfect place for two friends going to the Masters! Location was amazing and Constance was a GREAT host. She even called to see what kind of snacks we wanted! There are several steps to the property but that didn’t bother us.

Birthday weekend

We visit Augusta yeatly my husbamd was born there so we visit on his birthday weekend to celebrate. Tbis place was by far the most amazing place we have ever stayed. The views are phenomenal Perfect for biking riding the greenways and kayaking the savannah river. We also seem amazing fireworks right from the back deck. We enjoyed the hot tub each night to relax. We only drove our car once after we got there to go shopping at some of our favorite antiques shoos. This place is a place that will be our firever go to if avalable. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

Weekend Stay

We were in town for a baseball tournament at SRP Park for my son. Location was perfect, rental was clean and beautifully decorated. The views are amazing. BEST SHOWER EVER! Perfect for two adults and/or family with two kids. No oven and no washer/dryer. Those would be my only two negatives. Host were wonderful and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay right on the river! So Clean & Peaceful.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The property and location was so close to everything. The home was so beautifully decorated and utterly spotless! Our host thought of everything to make our stay perfect! The upper deck was the most peaceful place to enjoy a glass of wine while I watched my husband fish on the boat dock. Awesome bed, awesome shower, comfy seating, hot tub…this place had every luxury. If you are coming to Augusta or even the South Carolina border, this is the place to stay. There was ample parking as well. We can’t wait to visit again. Our host was excellent at communication and was the sweetest. Thank you Constance for a great experience :)

Unique property in Augusta!

We came to Augusta to see the area as my daughter will be moving there for grad school in the fall. This house was the perfect location for everything and we loved being on the river, watching the rowing crews go by. Everything was well supplied, the decor was wonderful, beds super comfortable including the bed under the stairs. The house felt very private and it was on the most interesting street! We enjoyed going to Meadow Garden, The Morris Museum of Art , Riverwalk and Phinizy Swamp - be aware most things while we were here in March only seem to be open Thu-Sun. The town was pretty quiet on a Monday. We will have to see everything else when we come back again to visit, would stay here again for sure.

Diamond in the Rough

This property was absolutely spectacular. The home is so delightful. Attention to detail was spot on! So many little special things when you walk into the home. I don't want to mention them all - as it might ruin the surprise for future guests. There is one small detail that is worthy mentioning - you must be able to handle steps. There are quiet a few steps to get down to the home. If in the area again, I will most certainly look into availability of this location.

Beautiful Riverfront Retreat

We had an absolutely lovely stay over a long weekend. The property is immaculately clean, very well appointed and of designer quality. We were amazed with the hospitality and would absolutely stay again when we return to the area. The bed was wonderfully comfortable with linen sheets that were so warm and inviting. The porch was lovely for our morning coffee and the downstairs dock surprised us with a hot tub! Very clean and easy to use. Towels and wash cloths were provided and so plush and fluffy. Kitchen had all cooking items (no stove) and living area was welcoming with nicely arranged furniture and seasonal decor. Easy in and out - no key entry/ all digital locks. Easy parking (covered) and close to Broad St (GA) and SRP Park (SC) for nearby restaurants and bars. Very relaxing to wake up and lie down listening to the river flowing outside. Simply wonderful stay!
