A great place to stay in Auckland.

Clean, comfortable apartment with all facilities. Close to the freeway, and to the Newmarket Shopping area. Welcoming owners who went out of their way to ensure our stay was pleasant, which it was. The Memorial park is 10 minutes away and is a must visit location whilst in the City. I would stay here again 100 percent.

Gute Lage, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

für Autoreisende sehr gut gelegen, großer -- bewachter -- Parkplatz, ca 10 min Fußweg bis zum Bahnhof, dann eine Station zum Zentrum, in der Nähe viele Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, große Zimmer (ca 40 qm), ordentlich ausgestattet, kleine Küche, Kaffee und Tee frei, sehr nette und hilfreiche Besitzerin very well located if you travel by car, big surveilled carpark, about 10 minute walk to the station, one stop to the city centre, many restaurants in the vicinity and shops and a supermarket, big rooms about 40 sqm, kitchen, coffee and tea provided, very kind and helpful landlady ( many thanks to Natalie)

Would stay here again

Friendly, welcoming & helpful staff. Quiet location in mixed residential and retail area. Housekeeping units provide fair value for cost. Auckland train and bus systems provide ease of travel to downtown (under 3 km) for a reasonable charge. Would stay here again.

Easy hospital walk

Simple walk to both the hospital, Newmarket.. easy access from SH1, ample parking... room was comfortable although the couch pretty uncomfortable as very worn. It is old but I enjoyed its position and size. Great reception service too.. thanks so much, definitely plan to stay again.

Nice hotel close to EMA training facitility

Was a plesant stay, it was a close walk to training and then into Newmarket for dinner, the manager was very helpful and nice to talk with, great customer service

Very clean and excellent location for Hospital.

Very clean tidy room. Friendly and helpful welcome on arrival. I asked for an iron and hairdryer and it was delivered immediately. 10 mins walk to Auckland City Hospital and the Domain. Restaurants 10 mins walk away.

Bed super comfortable!!

The plus - location good - central and near shops, cafes and public transport. Room a great size. Downside - towels only changed every few days (unless you want to pay for daily changing). Room decor a bit tired. No oven. To end on a positive note... Room nice and clean, bed a great size and comfortable.

Good value for money & super comfy super king bed

Very happy with this accommodation. Photos show room as it is and other reviews are correct in that they indicate that City Towers is an older apartment building that has some cosmetic scrapes and marks but is solid and large. The super king bed was super comfy and was so great to come home to. Has a kitchen with gas hobs, microwave and cooking dishes. Kitchen lacks a few kitchen items but I am sure that Management would supply if needed. There was a table and chairs and a sofa which looks like it could maybe be an additional bed although this wasn't that comfy if sitting in for sometime but all in all very happy. Location has free parking, (no lift) but easy walk up access. The most difficult part is the steep bit for less than 100m at the beginning of the street and into the drive but I am not fit and I managed it fine. Grafton train station is closer than Newmarket if you are wanting to go into CBD. Management very friendly and offer good advice.

Cricket weekend

It was a great location for the Grafton train Station and walking distance to Newmarket. The room needs an update, particularly in the bathroom/shower area and kitchen, but it was very clean. As it was so hot, we could have done with having a fan. We enjoyed our private patio area on the ground floor. The Managers were very nice and really helpful. Overall it was a good place to stay, and we would recommend it to our friends, and return also.

以自駕遊形式是方便住宿的地點，到市中心、旺區及景點也很便利，例如：Auckland Museum, Zoo, Viaduct Harbour, Parnell,..etc. 不足的地方，是花灑浴熱水流很細，要用上很多時間洗頭及沐浴。

great private space

arrived really early from my flight and after pre arranging with the owner via email she left the key to the apartment in reach for me to find after a long (ok fine 4 hours isn't long but was overnight and I didn't sleep) flight I just wanted to sleep and get ready for a weekend away the apartments are close to: 1 The hospital is 10 minutes walk away 2 Grafton train station 5 minutes walk away 3 Shops and some good shopping 4 Food and some really nice food Hells pizza the lumsden and a korean BBQ with in 10 minutes walk 5 The city. walk to Grafton train station and catch the train to britmart 20-25 minutes your in the city quick warning if you have a car your set if you don't then here is the warning...to get to the shops to buy food to get to the hospital and train station and to get to the actual apartment there are massive hills (ok fine not massive) but small hills. not hard for a lot of people but if you have difficulty walking up hills be careful in saying that the apartments are amazing and the massive bed is big enough for 4 people to sleep in lol there was only one of me but I had an amazing weekend and would 100% recommend City Towers to anyone

5 nights at city Towers

I stayed for 5 nights and apart from being on the 3rd floor and no lift the accommodation was nice and clean and comfortable. Huge kingsize bed and good shower. Nice to have a full size fridge and freezer. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. I would stay here again.

Fabulous and friendly

Brought my dad for medical treatment at Mercy hospital and found out about this place on hotels.com. I am so grateful that I booked it we all felt at home at City Towers. The place was clean, quiet and comfortable and handy to Mercy hospital . Also, Newmarket and the city are nearby for shopping etc. Reasonably priced and worth every penny. Natalie is so lovely and accommodating and even gave us a lift to the hospital when the taxi wasn't available. That was really great of her to do so. Would highly recommend this place to others and we will definitely be coming back if we return to Auckland. I give it a five stars!

Great value for money in a convenient location

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. I chose it due to price, location, availability and amenities. It's very reasonably priced and parking was free. The hotel was a bit older, but clean and very helpful staff. No issues of many downtown hotels like parking, traffic or long walks to the room and overcrowded elevators. Its certainly not for everyone, but the Domain is very close for running and Newmarket for restaurants and shopping. All in walking distance.

Recent stay at City Towers

A late arrival on our part was well catered for with keys and instructions left for us. Reception hours past 5.00pm would be more helpful though. The room was a bit dated and a cracked basin in the bathroom. Having booked for an extra person in the room, there were not enough pillows for all to have 2 pillows, and no hair dryer in the room. Extra pillows and a hair dryer were provided when asked for. The relieving manager was extremely friendly and helpful, looking up directions to attractions for us, etc.

Fantastic accommodation find

Fantastic location at a very affordable price. On main arterial bus route plus couple minutes walk to the main Auckland train line. Very helpful staff. Couldn't recommend highly enough. I will be back next time I need accommodation in Auckland.

Excellent motel/apartment

Excellent motel, super clean & tidy, really close to Newmarket shops and restaurants. Motel Managers were friendly and helpful. Would totally recommend.

Stay excellent. Only change I'd make is painting the judder bars / speed bumps with white stripes. Or putting up a Judderbar sign to warn you arriving on dark nights in your car.
