    This three-bedroom apartment at Lighter Quay Stratis has built a genuinely strong reputation, and every room in it explains why. The North Wharf dining precinct is right on your doorstep: Baduzzi for handmade pasta and Italian small plates, Hello Beasty for bold Asian-inspired sharing plates, Giraffe for waterfront dining, and a wonderful selection of bars and wine rooms that make this one of the city`s best places to spend an evening.

    Silo Park, with its outdoor cinema, weekend markets, and public art, is a short stroll, as is the Auckland Fish Market and the ASB Waterfront Theatre. We advise collecting the keys on your way to the apartment, if coming to the city via taxi or UBER, ask the taxi to wait a second while you collect the key. The walk to the apartment from the lock box is not far, but no one wants to walk in the city with suitcases!

Great location and comfortable for family over longish stay. Wifi network wasn't available for a few days (which frustrated the kids as it meant no TV during cyclone and general bad weather) and the kitchen was always full of fruit flies for some reason too (there when we arrived) but otherwise it was a great place to be. Host easy to get hold of and accommodating. Will def consider booking again.

We loved the property. The area was great with Woolies across the road and dining precint within a short walking distance. The are felt safe and was beautiful surrounded by 5 star hotels. There was only once A/C in the lounge/ dining and the bedrooms were hot in the evenings. Still we had a wonderful stay.
