"Quiet home base. It’s a small cabin with a lovely deck to so and enjoy river front views. You can see main house from the deck, but it felt very private and was a quiet property."

"Our stay at Mountain View Loj exceeded our expectations. The house was clean and comfortable for our sibling vacation--3 couples and two of our adult children. Beds were comfortable, AC worked during the brief heat wave, the kitchen was well equipped, and check out was as easy as any vacation rental. When we did have a little problem, the owner was over in 10 minutes to fix it. The property manager was very responsive to any questions. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time to stay....

The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with whatever we needed. The host was available whenever we had any questions, but we had no problems during our stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area, as its remote location is so peaceful. We will...

"Beautiful house and location. Just what we were looking for in terms of size, rooms and features. Gorgeous property with sensational views. We enjoyed watching the many deer who roam the property.Renter BEWARE: We found two mice inside the home, numerous outside, and could hear others through the walls. I notified the owner, who quickly responded and called an exterminator. I would imagine this will be an ongoing issue and I would never rent this house again because of it.Other negatives with...
