We had a great week at the beach. Cleanest property we have ever stayed at. Communication with the owner was excellent. Being up at the end of Ocean City, lots of space on the beach and just a short drive to lots of activities and restaurants. Hope to stay again next year.

The area is like a neighborhood but steps from the beach, which was quiet and thoroughly enjoyable. People were incredibly friendly. Wish the weather had been a little more cooperative but we will definitely come back. Our dogs loved being there and Chris thought of everything. From having linens, toilet paper and even a sewing kit, it felt like home away from home. Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely home! See you next year. :)

Great property for multiple families. The two living spaces and separate floors offered privacy for our sibling trip. We enjoyed watching sunrises and sunsets on the beach which is steps away. The house has everything you need for a great beach vacation. We rode bikes to the boardwalk and we walked (only 1 mile) The house was very clean and comfortable. Great spot.

Our stay in the Gardens of Ocean City was wonderful. It really worked for our family. The neighborhood is lovely and the location is steps from the beach. Check-in was a breeze. We struggled on how to get the oven to work (imported brand?) but a quick google search had us on our way. Trash from previous renters was still in the garage, but we took it to the curb on pick-up day. No problem. Appreciated the miscellaneous items in the closet (like tape, etc) and added some to it for others. Of five different high-end OC rentals, this was the first and only one with a clean washing machine! No mold, yay!Thank you, we hope to return again.

This is a fantastic place to stay. The house is spacious and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The location is in a beautiful, quiet residential neighborhood on the north end of the island- 2 houses from the beach! The owners were extremely responsive - even sending us a PDF of the oven we were initially confused by how to operate. There were even food and water bowls provided for dogs. This is the BEST rental we’ve been to in our 30+ years of renting at Ocean City!

We had a wonderful time at Chris and family's home in the Garden area of Ocean City! Chris was great to communicate with me before and during our visit. The house is lovely, and the beds very comfortable. My daughter needed a table to work on from the house. Chris bought one and had it delivered to the house. We cooked most of our meals there. My husband grilled on Chris' nice gas grill. The location was great! It was right down the street from the beach. The neighborhood was quiet.

We love staying at The Seagate! It is truly a vacation home away from home. Chris (the host) goes above and beyond to provide everything needed for a great stay. Our week went by much too quickly. We hope to return next year!

The Seagate location was perfection! The Gardens district is simply gorgeous and the house is 3 houses away from what feels like a private beach entrance. The beach was clean, flat, and had fine sand. Now let's talk about the house! Everything you could want was provided at this home as the kitchen was well appointed and the house felt super-cozy! We loved the two living areas and although our gang hung out close to the kitchen, we thoroughly enjoyed the upstairs living room for the Eagles game on Sunday. We loved that we could bring our two dogs and there were plenty of sheets to cover furniture in the linen closet. They felt instantly at home too. This location is 3 minutes from the Long Port dog beach- another bonus. I should also mention that the garage was filled with grills, bikes, chairs, etc. There was also plenty of parking in the driveway and on the street. Our hosts were responsive with initial contact, but we everything was so great that we didn't need to reach out to them further. Do not hesitate to rent this property!

This property is spacious, with modern amenities. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely with the beach just a few steps away. It was perfect for our stay and we wished we had another week! We wouldn't have changed a thing.

From the moment that I pulled up to the house and saw the proximity to the ocean, I was sold. When I walked into the house and looked around, I had a huge smile on my face. The house was perfect for my family, which included myself, children, spouses, grandson and a dog. Well stocked kitchen, spacious bedrooms, expansive upstairs with large TV, deck where you can actually SEE the ocean and hear the waves. We enjoyed the beach, long walks through what may be the loveliest section of OCNJ, the boardwalk, bike rides, burgers on the grill and of course fudge :-). I look forward to booking again next year and highly recommend this home. Maryellen Walter

This was our second time staying at this wonderful house, and it truly has everything-beach chairs, towels, lots of cooking equipment, everything needed for a comfortable stay and plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Chris, the owner, was very responsive when we had questions. We will definitely stay here again.

I can hardly find the words to express how perfect our stay was at the Seagate! This was my first attempt at trying a VRBO. I grew up with summers spent in The Gardens section of OCNJ. It is my happy place. Every year I bring my son down to visit my childhood beaches. To stay at the Seagate felt like coming home. Just steps away from my childhood beach. This home was absolutely immaculate! For a first timer, I adored having everything labeled meticulously. I was so nervous about entering someone else’s home, but they made it so inviting! They thought of everything! Extra umbrellas, board games, nightlights, phone chargers and all the linens you could possibly need. As a single Mom, I felt spoiled by the thoughtfully placed baskets of bedding and attention to detail. My son and I felt truly welcomed. All correspondence with Chris was easy and with immediate responses. I don’t know if we could ever go back to staying in hotels. This felt like our home away from home.
