Off-season but great location with private parking. Host was super responsive and helpful during our stay. We had 12 adults and there was plenty of space for sleeping, eating and just hanging out. We will be back.

Perfect place for large groups!

This house was the perfect place for our long weekend getaway with friends! Nelson was so helpful during the check-in process (he even offered to help us unload our cars) and always had a smile on his face when we saw him around town! The house was very clean and the off-street parking was a definite bonus. It's also very close to the boardwalk and beach. Our group is already talking about booking here again for next year!

Perfect wedding weekend destination

Ericka was an amazing host, she gave us a tour of the property and it’s history. The house itself is enormous. A rare find in Ocean City, and it’s historic charm is a true gem among the modernized/new construction craze of the shore towns. We stayed here for the weekend after our wedding reception with our closest friends, it was a great way to extend our special day. We would gladly stay here again.

Awesome place for a group

Can’t say enough good things about the property or Ericka (the host). The place is huuuuuge. Def old school, but the pics showed it and added to the uniqueness of my girlfriend’s 30th b day beach weekend. If u want to have a large family get together or get a bunch of old friends together this is your place. We will be back!!!!

Family Vacation

The house is Amazing and was perfect for my family of 14. Impeccably clean, communication with the owner was outstanding, and the location is perfect. This is the best rental experience we’ve had. We will definitely stay here again.

OMG cannot say enough. Nelson WONDERFUL!!! the place we were suppose to have cancelled last minute. when I could not find a retreat house I went outside the box for the first time did VRBO and found this home. excellent for our needs all the women are truly grateful

Ocean City House

Good house for large group though the lack of full baths was slightly problematic. Difficult steps in and out of the house. Indoor/ outdoor carpet was dangerous and in bad repair. Would be helpful to have written information (e.g where to find key, wi fi, what to do with trash). Nelson, the property manager, was extremely helpful. Location was excellent.

Great weekend getaway!

My group of friends and I had an amazing time! There were plenty of rooms and space for everyone. The family room was the best one considering we all gathered and enjoyed ourselves. Nelson was a fantastic host and communicated everything promptly. Can’t thank you again!

Family Fun in Ocean City

Plenty of space! Property Manager, Nelson, couldn’t be nicer. He was very responsive to our requests. I had my 5 grandchildren and their friends down for 2 weeks and the house was perfect for all of us. We hired Chef Patty, who was very creative and catered to the kids. We also hired 2 Housekeepers, Miss Margie and Miss Estella, who kept the house super clean and also washed towels and did laundry for us. They were like family to us!

Perfect for a large group!

We had a group of 15 for a bachelorette party. Plenty of space for everyone, well stocked kitchen, easy walk to the beach, and CLEAN! Some parts of the house are a bit rundown, but the AC worked well, furniture was comfortable, and Nelson was friendly and easy to communicate with.

Review for Central ave property

The property itself is not bad with location, parking but for the rent charged some basic improvements need to ge done. Needs improvement things - The stair carpet is torn and is an accident waiting to happen. One of the bathroom has no locks and its a common bathroom so thats basic thing. Better communication with owner. I did not have his cell till 28 hours later but was communicating by email which is not the easiest way. Good things - location , parking, Access to beach , tags provided by owner, the porch is a great hangout place for a big group( we were 33) . We did not have wifi password till almost 28 hours into our stay.

Fun Stay Over New Years

This is a very big house and is largely as advertised. It is a great value if you have a very large group. We had a family gathering and the house fit the whole family (it has been an issue to find a large enough place that is affordable). There are beds everywhere in the bedrooms, ideal if you don't mind packing in to save a few dollars. The house is very conveniently located near the grocery store, Starbucks and especially the Boardwalk which we enjoyed have easy access to. The arcade is right at the end of the road and it has 10 cent SkiBall! Nelson was very responsive. He took care of the couple issues we had with the internet in a prompt manner. It isn't the right place if you are looking for luxury, but it is a great value if you are looking for a place for a large group on a budget.

The Perfect Meeting Place for a Large Family!

Our family found this property warm and inviting. Nelson, the owner greeted our first arrivals, welcomed them to the home and made sure that they were comfortable and knew where everything was. Besides the 11 bedrooms and kitchen/dining area, there were several gathering areas where we were able to lounge, talk and play games. Our Family Thanksgiving was great! Besides being thankful for family, we are thankful that we found this property.

Great retreat house!

Every year our group assembles at this location to reconnect and relax. The convenience of every one having their own room, open kitchen use, grand covered porch and close proximity to boardwalk and beach make for a wonderful stay. If you are looking for a family-style place to vacation - this may be the one for you.

Nelson was great and the place was fabulous! Highly recommend

The house is huge and in really good proximity to the beach? What else do you want? The decor is slightly dated and the house works better for large groups than sets of couples (for instance). Several of the rooms only have single beds. That said, it has a nice large living area on the 1st floor, a condo around back and Nelson (the property manager) could not be more friendly.

Close to boardwalk; kitchen facilties so no need to eat out; variety of sleeping arrangements for couples and family; beautiful wrap around porch for relaxing; large TV in living room for viewing or a/v for meetings.
