The downstairs full bath is highly convenient for 6 people, only can use some ventilation. Thanks again!"

"Cute property that met our needs. The full sized kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, cutting boards, and grill accessories. The mattress was soft. Our dog enjoyed sitting on the top deck with us, and we appreciated the pullout “gate” at the top of the stairs so he could remain off leash. Hosts were great communicators!"

"The unit we stayed in was the B side of a three-story duplex. We never heard the neighbors, so that was good. It is a five minute walk to the beach and if you want to drive your gear there, you’ll have to pay for the very limited parking with an app. The unit itself was comfortable and eclectic. The inside dining table only seats four so we had to sit on the porch to be able to seat all seven of us. We had some suggestions for the host on improving how the kitchen is stocked - like more...

"The location was excellent. There is a 2 minute walk to the beach and it is central to restaurant. The fishing pier is exactly 1 mile away and Fort Macon was 3 miles. The house however had quite a few problems that could easily be fixed with minimal effort. Front porch railing falling off and is unsafe. Poor lighting throughout. A need to spray for ants as they were in the bathrooms. Dirty feet walking across floor. Master bathroom door sticks so if you use it at night, you will wake anyone else...

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Sand Dollar. The overall cleanliness of the house was good. The location was great just over the Sand Dune and you were on the beach. The reason that we're giving this location a rating of 4 is because we found black mold in the living room on the ceiling. Also, while relaxing on the back porch swing, the extremely Rusty eye bolts gave way. These were our safety concerns. We would definitely consider staying again knowing that these issues will be taken care of."

"Very comfortable, cozy studio. Everything you would need for a weekend or week or more stay. Beautiful views from the second floor balcony and literally steps to the beach. Quiet and convenient to everything you could need or want. Perfect little get-a-way!"

"Great value in the off season. Pool and hot tub were great. Room was spacious and beach was right there. No restaurants on site, so hav bring your own food ( full kitchen in room) or travel offsite. Wifi was weak, but not bad to disconnect for 2 days. Will book again! "
