"Overall, the stay was disappointing. On the positive side, the onsen was lovely and the attendant on the ladies side was very helpful. That said, nothing is available until 3 and you have to rush to make an on-site reservation for the open air area after 3 (there was not an option to reserve prior to 3). "The staff is attentive and the onsen is very relaxing. The hotel sometimes feels like a maze. Even though it said on its website that they had a SPA continuously, it was closed for the day we went (tuesday); double check that. The buffet breakfast is definitely worth taking. The walks around the hotel and next to the lake will show you beautiful sights. Walking distance to the waterside shrine and the Laketown. "

We took advantage of a lot of what the hotel had to offer (for example, massages, facials, hotel restaurant, and even the nearby outlets). They do come at an extra reasonable price!
