Great Family Vacation

Wonderful home and nicely located with quick access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and close enough to Asheville to enjoy some of the city fun. Clean and well cared for property that is ideal for a family.

I adore this house.

I loved so many things about this house and trip - the location is excellent, the kitchen and all the supplies were wonderful, I adored the textile art on the walls, and the view is just unbeatable. We saw bears 3 different times! We went on some short hikes, spent some time in Asheville, but got a lot of time doing crafts and relaxing at the house. Only issue was we never could figure out some of the tv / audio connections but who cares when there’s so much else to see and do?! I hope to stay here again next spring / summer.

Gorgeous Views

This home was large, clean, and has stunningly beautiful views. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their own space and gather around the cozy dining room for family dinners. The only negatives were the hot tub not staying warm ( although the weather this week was not over 58 degrees during the day and 33 at night) and the road closures on blue ridge parkway that forced us to find alternate routes to the home. I would recommend this home to any family that wants a true mountain getaway.

Perfect Scenic Getaway

Our family had a wonderful stay at Blue Ridge Bliss. The views were spectacular from both levels. The house was very clean and had plenty of amenities. Short walk to the Mountains to Sea Trail and Blue Rdige Parkway is close as well. Would highly recommend this property.

Peaceful Retreat and stunning views

Beautiful, clean property with amazing views. Lots of amenities and easy access to the Mountains to Sea trail. Made for a wonderful family getaway.

Blue Ridge Brews

Nice house and very private location. Unfortunately guests before us left the house in a dire condition and took extra time to clean so we did not get into house until 6 pm. Parts of house seemed to have lingering pet odor. On bright side, the drive into Asheville takes you onto Blue Ridge Parkway which is beautiful. Lots of good hikes within 30 minutes of house. We loved Asheville especially the many excellent breweries (don’t miss Burial Beer Co.).

Perfect Basecamp for Asheville

We had an incredible time exploring the region while using this place as a base camp. The views from the hot tub and porch at sunset were incredible and we had a fantastic time. 100% would recommend this place to anyone.

Long weekend getaway

Two couples traveled from WI to NC for a long weekend of hiking, food and adulting away from the kids. Blue Ridge Bliss was a great rental that I absolutely would book again. Thank you for having everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Fantastic getaway

A rare combination of terrific house and perfect setting. The house is remote enough to truly feel 'away', but still only 20 minutes from downtown Asheville--and less than 5 from all of the hiking and sights along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The finishes in the house are above what you might expect in a rental property, as well. Only real downsides are slow internet (hey, you're in the mountains) and the long unpaved driveway that can be a little iffy in rain or poor visibility. Not unsafe by any means, but something that can catch a city-slicker off guard. Highly recommend this house!

Excellent property

The house is beautiful and well-appointed (I've never seen a kitchen in a short-term rental that has as much equipment as this one did!). The views are gorgeous and the house feels remote, but is really just a 20 minute drive from Asheville. Be warned, the street the house is on is a twisty-windy gravel road, so when they say a AWD/4WD is recommended, they mean it). Also, be advised, for people who are picky about mattresses, the king sized bed is super soft, the bottom bunk of the bunk beds is super firm (no one slept in the top bunk, so I can't speak to that), and the queen in the upstairs bedroom is somewhere in between. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend Blue Ridge Bliss to anyone wanting a stay in the mountains.

Holiday mountain wonder

Wonderful home. Great fireplace and fire pit next to the hot tub. Scenic views near great hiking trails that we enjoyed with our dogs. About 25-30 minutes outside Asheville. Fun games and puzzles in the house. Blue tooth speakers made the music enjoyable. We’d visit again.

Exactly what we were looking for

Great location, amazing views...close enough to everything while still feeling remote. The kitchen was the best equipped of any rental property we've stayed. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner with ease. The close proximity of hiking trails was a great plus.

Not just a "normal" cabin!

This property was a wonderful surprise! It is very private but has all the luxuries of home! The views are breathtaking and the house was perfect for our family! The internet was super slow so we could not stream a movie, but we enjoyed playing board games anyway!
