Wonderful home and location for us
For my wife and I from NC plus brother and sister-in-law from Minnesota, this was a perfect property for our 5 day stay and for us to be able to introduce them to Asheville and the surrounding mountains, which still had really nice fall colors at the lower elevations. Our host, Lucy, provided everything we needed for our stay in her very comfortable home with many thoughtful extras. With only four of us, we had plenty of room to spread out and relax, but six could be equally comfortable in this spacious home. We enjoyed relaxing on the large, upper balcony with relaxing mountain views as well as on the comfortable covered entry's outdoor seating area. The pool table was a major bonus that we enjoyed. The property has an uncrowded country feel but is within half a mile of a convenient major supermarket, gas stations, several good restaurants, and large outlet mall.
The location is minutes from and has easy highway access to downtown Asheville and all its many attractions, the Biltmore estate, entry to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and much more. We even enjoyed an admittedly long, circular day trip to Cherokee, the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, and Gatlinburg, TN.
We would stay here again without question with friends and family that need a home of this size.
