  • This cosy, stone cottage has an outdoor seating area and can sleep upto 5 people. It is located on the grounds of a beautiful private home in a country setting, within 20 mins of the Airport, c.30 mins Dublin, 10 mins Emerald Theme Park and c.20 mins Slane Castle and Brewery. While taxis and bus are available in Ashbourne ( 7 mins drive ), hiring your own car is best.

If you’ve ever dreamed of staying in a cottage in the Irish countryside, this is the place for you! The cottage is beautiful and serene, with a friendly and responsive host. As a bonus, 2 friendly pups might stop by to play.

Lovely stat

We had a lovely stay at this sweet house. The hosts were incredible-warm and inviting! The location was lovely-very peaceful but close to Dublin, the airport, and the ocean. Thanks for the stay!

Excellent host

Hosts were very welcoming and the cottage was wonderful. Transportation to and from isn’t easy without a car or taxi but even so we loved our stay.

Highly recommend

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Beautiful property! John and Rochelle were wonderful hosts. The location was perfect for us. Close to downtown Dublin and the airport. We loved exploring the city during the day and then coming home to the cozy cottage at the end of the day. We would highly recommend this property for your stay.

Lovely small Cottage

We were warmly welcomed to the small cottage. The cottage is beautiful and has a lovely interior. It is only 15min away from the airport and about 20-25min from Dublin City. We really loved our stay.

Great flat!

We enjoyed our stay. The owners were very pleasant and we enjoyed our chats. We stayed here as a base for exploring a bit of Ireland. We were able to quickly get to Dublin and also explored Kilkinney and Wexham. The town of Ashbourne is very close and has great restaurants. Overall, a great place to stay and explore Ireland.

Beautiful Quiet Setting.

We had a great time at Ryan’s cottage. It is beautifully situated on a country estate. The cottage had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The town of Ashbourne is lovely and Dublin was only a 30 minute bus ride away. The Ryan’s went out of there way to makes us feel at home. Would highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking to visit Ireland

Great property and quiet location

We enjoyed the property mainly for location and space. It was a great base camp for exploring the country. Easy to get to airport and downtown Dublin. Plenty of space for a family of 4. Hosts were great. Would highly recommend.

Quiet Country Cottage

We had a comfortable and relaxing stay at the Quiet Country Cottage. The location was ideal for two days in Meath and two days in Dublin City. We had wonderful weather all four days and sat out on the back patio to enjoy the late afternoon sunshine and the peaceful yard one of the days.

Country Cottage

The accommodation was located in a perfect spot for our day trips for our stay. Our hosts were fantastic. Finding parking is a bit of a challenge and the tips on a place to park to catch transit into Dublin was invaluable. Thank you again so much for the welcome basket, it was very much appreciated….

Perfect stay

This was the perfect location for a three day stay near Dublin. We loved everything about it. The hosts made us feel very welcome. The apartment is perfect and comes with every amenity you could ever need. Thank you for everything!

Lovely home!!

Found this a perfect 3 night home. Location just outside Dublin airport was very convenient as we flew home from here. Nicely decorated, plenty of extra bedding & towels, small but comfortable. Host were very friendly & offered insight into local things to visit. Will defiantly recommend to anyone.

Irland-Kurztrip mit 5 Mädels

Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt. Die gastgeber hatten uns sogar Wein und Snacks bereit gestellt. Alles funktionierte einwandfrei. Bei Rückfragen standen die Gastgeber jederzeit zur Verfügung. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und sauber. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren. :)

Petit logement très cosy

Le logement est propre et très accueillant. Il est très bien décoré. Les hôtes, John et Rachel sont très sympathiques et attentif à notre bien-être. l’emplacement est idéal pour visiter Dublin ou le bord de mer. Les chambres sont très confortables tout comme la literie de qualité. Le salon et la cuisine sont par contre un peu petits . Nous recommandons pleinement ce logement.

Perfect Irish Cottage

Amazing cottage and hosts! Great location for day trips. Coming back to the quiet of the cottage after a day of sightseeing was lovely. Plenty of room for 3 of us and amenities for the week. Unexpected extras were scones, bread, chocolate and wine waiting for us upon arrival. As well as some fridge items to start us off. Very kind and appreciated after a long flight. Our stay was everything we hoped for and more!

Our stay at the cottage was a dream come true. The cottage itself was beautiful inside and out. Every amenity you can think of at your disposal. Comfortable, cozy bedrooms. Kids had a lovely garden to play and play. The owners were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We would definitely return.

Wonderful

The property was amazing. Both the carriage house we stayed in and also the main house. Large yard. Two of the sweetest dogs. John and his wife were very welcoming to us when we arrived and let us know that if there was anything we needed to let them know. John got me a taxi cab to the Dublin train station at 6 AM. They were never intrusive. Overall, wonderful people and wonderful place.

Absolutely love this cottage!!

Perfectly positioned close to Dublin and attractions, but in the beautiful countryside. It was just spacious enough for our family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers. We were greeted with treats on the kitchen table and a few necessities in the fridge. John and Rachelle were the most gracious hosts and suggested wonderful sights for our 3 day stay. We were so exhausted from our daily outings that we didn't get a chance to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area, but it was available! Will absolutely be back!!

Wonderful little cottage!

We had an amazing stay in this gorgeous contribute cottage! It was a perfect size for our family of 5 and had all the amenities we needed. The cottage is in the backyard of the owners property. They have a stunning home and land and the cottage was very peaceful. The owners, John and Richelle, were very friendly and helped us with any needs. We had a problem with the hot water system and they fixed it immediately so we weren’t impacted. The family dogs were also very friendly and made us feel like we were at home. We would definitely stay here again. My only criticism is there maybe needs to be more info about how to use washing machine etc… us Aussies didn’t know how to use one of the combo washer dryers they have in the UK so we struggled to get it to work. I’m sure we could have asked for help, but a manual or instructions would have been simpler.
