Welcome to ‘Beach Villa Mare’, a stunning ultra modern styled holiday home situated on the beach and sea overlooking the unspoilt coastline of Argaka Bay, and the Mediterranean Sea. Argaka is a very affluent and tranquil location situated just outside the traditional yet vibrant town of Polis just North of Paphos.

After leaving the coastal road, the villa is easily accessed and it is possible to walk to local amenities as desired. The beach road features a promenade stretching along to all nearby restaurants, shops and bars and if you get too hot on the way you can simply take a dip in the sea at your leisure. Several Tavernas as well as the beach itself forms part of a beautiful stretch of coastline going all the way to Latchi and the Akamas Nature Reserve in one direction and ‘Pomos’ (the last village in the South of Cyprus) in the other. Santa Barbara Beach Bar/Taverna (2km away) is a great place for dining and it also has swings, beach sun loungers and a changing room for those relaxing days by the beach.

There are no neighbours to the West for almost 2km and this is likely to stay that way. The nearest villa to the East is Villa Anthiana and is approx 100m. (Beach side referred to with distances). The villa is therefore a secluded haven on the beach. Enjoy the peace and privacy and the gentle sound of the waves as you relax on your well deserved holiday. A truly quite unique opportunity.

IPTV system. LG music system. Large white coffee table & smaller white side table. 4 pendant light fittings. Climate control a/c. The dining area is large wooden table with glass top & 9 white leather chairs.

**The current IPTV system features most UK Sky channels (premium sports, documentaries, movies & music included) as well as channels in German & Russian (other languages also) and an automatically updated Video Library with films, series and more. Netflix and You Tube can also be accessed**

There is a doorway which leads up to the front of the villa and the direct access to the beach (10 steps).

Access to the roof terrace from First Floor.

The Large covered roof terrace with glass balustrade and concrete seating around the edges allowing 360 view from there of both hill and sea. Large white Table and 8 x chairs. A great area to admire the views, disappear off with a book, play games or have pre-dinner drinks with your party.

DETAILS OF THE EXTERIOR

Access to the Villa's substantial grounds is by a Gated concrete driveway to convenient area for parking.

Hedges surround the property marking the boundary. There is direct access to sea & beach. Palm trees are to the roadside of the property. 7 Concrete steps with glass balustrade lead to the stainless steel door leading into villa and its pool area. There is a tap here to wash off sand from feet after being to the beach.

The Private Pool is a 4.5m x 10.5m infinity edged overflow (1.55m depth) with both metal & roman steps for access. Glass balustrades surrround the edge of the modern concrete veranda which has a very clean look. There is an outdoor shower & sink area which can be used for food preparation by the bbq which has a good choice of accessories.

The area also consists of 8 sunloungers & pads for your relaxation. Small tables & 4 parasols with bases also surround the pool. A large wooden door opens out to mountain view. There are 8 steps leading down to large grassed area for direct access to the beach.

A large wooden table & 9 chairs completes the area making it the ideal place to dine alfresco and socialise with your party.

The Local Area

Beach Villa Mare is situated on the coastline of Argaka, a beautiful and somewhat unspoilt Cypriot Village sandwiched between the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea and some spectacular mountains filled with pine trees.

Argaka is home to a number of traditional Cypriot restaurants, a beach bar and an Irish Bar as well as a bakery and 2 mini-markets. Many of these amenities are in walking distance of the villa or within a very short car journey. Travel a little way and you reach the bigger town of Polis.

There is plenty of activity to choose from, whether you wish to dine in one of the many restaurants, shop at some larger supermarkets, hire mountain bikes, quad bikes or just watch the world go by in the ambience of the traditional village square.

The nearby Latchi beach is renowned as one of the best on this side of the island and not as crowded as the beaches in and around Paphos itself (which can be reached by car in 30 minutes or under). Latchi beach is famous for its clear blue sea, soft white sand and a great selection of watersports which are readily available. Take one of the boat rides (or even hire your own) to the 'blue lagoon', have a swim and/or snorkel, then come back to the pretty harbour/fishing port and have the famous 'Fish Meze' where you will be served approx 20 dishes including some of the freshest catches of the day whilst watching the world go by.

For the more adventurous, you can enter the 'Akamas' Nature reserve and go all the way round to 'Lara Beach' famous for its turtles and wonderful beach. If it is unspoilt Cyprus you are looking for, this is a great area to visit. You may even venture into the nearby villages of Peristerona, Lysos and Miliou or further on to Kathikas (with its vineyards and wineries), Droushia and Panagia. Other fantastic scenery can be taken in at Cedar Valley and the Troodos mountain range where in Winter, you can even Ski!Paphos airport is 1 hour away by very good quality roads with English road signs. Visit Argaka and you won't be disappointed.

''The villa it's perfect. It would be well suitable for two families, we enjoyed the space as a family of three. It is airy, great view not only from the upper veranda. Great architecture , nice to look at but also functional. Everything was clean , there is everything you need to cook a proper meal. We enjoyed the table tennis and table football very much in the fitness room in the basement.

It is directly at the beach. There are hiking trails very nearby. Just 5 min down the road there is a pizza place and a bakery, that we can recommend but also more restaurants. It is located at a street but there wasn't much traffic and the waves are louder!

We were very satisfied with your service. The owners were extremely friendly, speak English well, always there to help . I had some questions about the BBQ which were answered within minutes! Helped with shops, was very sympathetic and friendly.

There is no improvement necessary! It was a great experience and we have rented quite a lot of houses. ''

''First of all, it was a pleasure to have booked with you and stayed in the villa for 7 days, Panikos took great care of us and also answered our questions.

The villa was beautiful, comfortable, friendly, inviting. Quiet location, not too far from everything and yet something for yourself. Restaurants, Old town restaurant, its expensive but very good, Moustakallis Tavern is very authentic and also good food but for us ( 7 )
the best food ambience, friendliness, atmosphere and also the price was the Finikas Restaurant ( Polis Square ) we really like to go out and dine but this was amazing and outstanding, from the start with warm buns and homemade garlic and herb-butter to the starters and main courses all the way to a free digestive ( for the ladies a mild almond liqueur and a mild brandy for the guys )!!! 5 stars please recommend to your guests. We were also very impressed by the Avakas Gorge north of Paphos

You answered everything quick and easy. Panikos is the best, he came and took care of our questions, brought us cake and also olive oil ( because I was asking for a local olive
oil farmer he said that the season is over and brought us a bottle of his oil ) very generous Please tell your guests to bring some beach sandals becauce this little velcro spikes on the way to the beach are very stubborn on your shoes and really hurt when you step on them

''We had a great time!!

The villa’s position is wonderful and cannot be beaten. The property is huge but well planned out The cake and fruit provided by Panicos was a lovely gesture. The lady who does the cleaning was extremely helpful as we asked for seat pads for the outside chairs and she got us some – the cleanliness was amazing and the utensils in the kitchen were the best we have ever seen – everything had been thought of! The food and drink left was very much appreciated and thoughtful – thank you !

LetsRentOnline are very organised and we have already booked with you for next year in July at a different property but we will definitely be back to this villa as the view and proximity to the sea is just amazing!!!

''Firstly thank you for your excellent organisation and always helpful advice. I feel very comfortable and relaxed in Villa Mare. It was our 26th year visiting the Akamas region. The villa is superbly equipped making life very easy. The owners are the nicest people and Mr Panicos kept us fed with freshly baked cakes and fruit ! To me the location is perfect. That whole coastline is the ideal.
We are creatures of habit and patronise Kanali at Pomos harbour; Periyali in Latchi, The Old Town in Polis. You come across as most professional and we are Totally happy with all service received. Many thanks for all your help

''The Villa was extremely comfortable, well equipped and ideal for us. This was our 24th year of having a summer holiday in Cyprus – the previous villa we stayed at was sold during the pandemic sadly and no longer available for rent.

I love the location – it was private, quiet for me the nicest part of the island. It was good to see some new restaurants open since our last visit. Our favourites are Periyali in Latchi; Kanali in Pomos – we tend to avoid the less Cypriot style restuarants.

You were very efficient. The owner was charming and attentive. Brought us peaches and apricots from his orchard. I was very happy with Villa Mare – its location and facilities superb.

''The villa was really cool. Very nicely built and super located on the beach, which we had to ourselves the whole time for miles. The sea noise was dreamlike at night and the sky starry. The boat we had also rented and a nice 250 hp "fun boat" taken for a day. The service there was great and because the freshwater tank was broken, we didn't have to pay for the gasoline - and I drove a few laps ;)

I would book the villa again and again. Wi-Fi was good and I was able to earn back the money spent right away on vacation thanks to the good line. Service was also top. Everything was clean and we felt well taken care of. A real gem of bookable villas on the beach.

We ate best in Polis Finika's restaurant. Finika's had really good food straight from the farmers (which you could taste) at normal prices for the quality. We only went there in the end. The rest of the restaurants around are "ok" but less delicious.

As soon as I have more time, I will write a (good) review on fewodirect. Thank you also for your recommendations and service. Was top!

''We were overall very happy with our choice and the great service you personally offered. The villa is vast, a great space to entertain and probably too big for just the four of us. We really enjoyed the space it offered us to spread out and relax. The location was fantastic and memorable. We dined at at Santa Barbara twice, Halfway House and Nicandros in Latchi . All excellent family run authentic Cypriot restaurants at sensible price points for a family. Excellent service as agents, will certainly book with you again. No issues locally. The villa was fantastic, really spacious with the best view I have ever seen from a private villa. Sitting in the evenings watching the sun go down was magical. The pool was a good size and cleaned once during our stay. The kitchen was large and well stocked with everything you need for a family holiday. The living area was roomy and ideal for large groups. The lower level was huge again and had a great pool table and exercise equipment and another bathroom which was really useful when you were down there for any length of time. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. All in all a fantastic place to spend a week. Only one small comment about sun loungers -see below.
