Night in Raleigh

The house was very nice in a beautiful location. The only issue we had was there was limited silverware. Plenty of spoons and knives but no forks. Other than that small issue it was great.

Apex Visit

House was perfect: large kitchen & living room, nice bedrooms and bathrooms. I especially liked the 3rd story bedroom with private living room. The backyard was tranquil retreat.

Great house but poor upkeep.

Great house and enough space for 16. The home is in need of care with shakey banisters, broken drawers in the kitchen, and we never figured out the oven. The bedrooms got very hot during the night. Be aware that the outside play equipment has exposed nails and loose boards.

Family wedding

This property was exactly what we needed. Open spaces for all of our family to be together. Plenty of rooms for everyone to sleep. The gathering space on third floor was perfect for older kiddos. We did have an issue with oven not working, however the grill worked even better for French toast bake. The owner is very responsive. Thank you for loaning us your home.

Wonderful house but needs work

We loved our time and the house has so much potential. Outdoor area is rundown and slide ladder is dangerous. Outdoor porch furniture is not appealing and we had to clean and sweep the porch area. Master shower does not drain well. Shower

Wedding pre-night stay

We had a wedding in Apex at The Bradford, and the bride and bridesmaids stayed at the house. Parking was tight and down a steep driveway, but we were able to make it fit just fine. Have to make sure you park in in the driveway and only in front of the house. the house itself was fabulous, clean, and very good. Definitely recommend. The owner even found a couple of things that were left and offered to get them back to us. Great stay.

Beautiful and spacious home

Everything you need for a family get-together! Lots of room to spread out. Very convenient location with shops nearby. Very quiet neighborhood.

Such potential!

This house fits so many people, is decorated just fine, is in a great location, & the owner is responsive. Stayed over July 20th weekend. Improvements that are needed & hopefully complete as of today: fridge was dirty, many light bulbs out throughout the house, remote not set up for living room tv, master bathroom shower worked 1/2 the time, ants in another bathroom, a mushroom growing in the carpet in a bedroom, & grief flowers left behind (awkward). A great feature missing from this house was a binder of 'what to do' and 'please do before you leave'. Everyone had a good time & we hope this place becomes a 5 star!

Couples stay for wedding

We were in town for a wedding with 6 couples. The house was as described online. It was spacious and clean. We had room for everyone. The next morning we were so comfortable chatting over our coffee, we almost forgot that we had to check out! Highly recommend!

Extremely disappointed-

We loved the accommodations and it was a nice home in a pleasant neighborhood. We also enjoyed the yard space and the deck BUT upon the 2nd day there, the gas was shut off; YES, shut off! WHO goes on vacation to have the gas shut off. No hot water to take a shower. No gas to cook on the stove. Thankfully, the host had a grill for us to cook on. Due to this inconvenience of our host gas bill not getting paid, he came to the house that first night and was at the house the next day waiting for the gas company to come- very awkward. The host did come through by finding a way to turn the gas on although the utility company could not come right away. The host and his children were nice while we stayed there but that soon turned sour. After we left, I thought we would be compensated for this inconvenience by a refund of some of our money but the host would not bend towards that. He did provide us three complimentary bottles of wine. Needless to say, we did not go on vacation to meet the host and his beautiful children and get INCONVENIENCED by having the gas shut off.

Great Place!

This property was exactly what we needed for a one night stay close to Raleigh. The host was so nice and easy to get in touch with when we had a question. The kitchen was fully stocked. There were three sitting areas, which made it nice to sit, relax and spend time with family and friends that were with us. We will be back.
