    Lugar tranquilo y acogedor

    Decidimos ir a Ámsterdam a pasar unos días. Los precios son muy altos comparados con la mayor parte de Europa y encontramos esta habitación con hall, muy coqueta. El recibimiento por el anfitrión, inmejorable. Nos explicó todo lo que se debe saber para explotar el tiempo los 4 días que estuvimos. Un detalle. Nosotros somos muy cafeteros y tiene una Nespresso con su caja original de cápsulas. Una delicia para los amantes del café.

    Fabulous location outside main areas

    Great location if you don't want to stay in the busy areas. Easy walk to the center (30 min) or to Jordaan (10 min). Anne Frank House (20 min). Perfect little spot to get a great sleep in a big bed with coffee in the morning. Right above a grocery store and bakery. Ice cream down the street!

    Great location, comfortable stay

    Cannot say enough good things about this location. Very near to bus and tram stops and to a variety of restaurants. (The short walk to Mossel en Gin is well worth it but there are also options for all budgets and tastes within a few blocks.) It was so very easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. There’s also a grocery store, liquor store, and bakery on the same block. What more could anyone need. Bed very comfortable and large enough to share easily with my adult daughter. Shower had good pressure and temperature. Refrigerator kept well stocked with cold tap water for drinking — a nice bonus. The listing doesn’t mention that you’ll go up a flight of stairs to reach the flat. Be prepared if you have heavy or lots of luggage. No surprise that it doesn’t have AC, but a fan would have helped a lot. Neighborhood mostly quiet in the sleeping hours, but there can be party people coming home at any hour — makes you wonder what the more central neighborhoods sound like! Also, watched for chewed gum spit onto the sidewalk outside the shared upstairs entrance. I only stepped in it once but that was enough. (The owner does not control that area, so that’s not a complaint, just a friendly warning.)The check-in conversation took about an hour. The owner loves this flat and is a great advocate for his city. We benefited greatly from his tips, including his instructions to buy a transit pass at the stationary store on the next block over. Thanks for sharing your flat with us!

    The Host, Mark is thoughtful and knowledgeable. He provided much support for navigating Amsterdam and helped us with our Anne Frank House reservation when we knew our travel there would be delayed. Mark provided a suggestion for dining nearby in the Westerpark. I recommend the studio for people on the go that want a comfortable stay, the apartment had everything we needed. I would stay again.

    Mark is a terrific host! He greeted us when we arrived, showed us around the place and gave us some tips about the city and the neighborhood. We walked most places and took the bus a few times, it’s in a great location. The place was excellent, great accommodations with everything thought of, from hair dryer to extra towels, water and even daily refresh! We would stay again and highly recommend.

    Very welcoming and informative host

    Check in process was very easy, Mark arranged a cab for us from the train station and again to the airport on departure. He went over everything in the vrbo with us as well as detailed information on the area and things to do in Amsterdam. Vrbo maintained daily. Good walkable location with grocery and cafes nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return if back in Amsterdam.

    Great neighborhood, great host, and they cleaned up the place like a first class hotel while I was out. Public transportation is right there, a one minute walk from the front door. The neighborhood restaurants were outstanding.

    The location has lots of restsurants near It was my first visit to Amsterdam , took me a while to figure out the tram system , a stop is right by rental, you need a transit map to figure where to get off and hit most tourist areas

    This property was an amazing stay. Walkable to most places. Multiple trams close by to get you into downtown. Lovely restaurants, cafes and local stores within a short walking distance. Mark was the most gracious host! Welcomed us into the home and gave so many tips and recommendations about Amsterdam.

    Super host, great space, wonderful neighborhood!

    Mark greeted us upon check-in and gave us a personal overview of the studio. He then spent time with us telling us about the apartment, neighborhood, and his history. He then pulled out a folder full of information gathered be him and other guests, including maps of the are. The space had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Thank you again Mark for a wonderful stay!

    Attentive Host

    We had a comfortable stay at a near central location with good tram connections to museums and other tourist attractions. Very close to Westerpark, a huge green space with good restaurants and a wonderful Sunday market. Mark meets each of his quests to make sure they are acquainted with the apartment and surroundings, such as grocery shopping, transportation etc.

    Mark is a fantastic host! The studio is perfect for two people, and has a a bathroom & huge bed that was perfect for my friend and I. Mark greeted us and was very accommodating for when we got to the studio almost at midnight. He had a lot of recommendations that really helped us out with our stay. The studio is kept very clean and has every amenity necessary. He has someone come by every day during our stay to fill our water bottles and clean up the room. I highly recommend this studio!

    Stylish apartment close to the best of Amsterdam.

    Our host Mark was always fast to contact and reply to any messaging. He very kindly gave us detailed tips and notes of all best places to visit, like cafes, restaurants, museums, and canal tours. The big king bed was most comfortable, as were the lounge chairs. Mark certainly made our stay in Amsterdam smooth and easy.

    Spent about 4 days here. Mark is a super great host. He arranged a ride for us from airport after we said we would take the train. Glad we listened to him. Flight arrives late and driver waited. We had an issue with internet and Mark had it fixed very very quickly. He gave us some very good local tips on things to see. Mark, thank you so much, we sure had a great (and long) chat on our arrival. If we visit again, you will be our 1st choice to stay.

    Fantastic host and great location in Amsterdam

    My wife and I were looking for a quiet, safe and conveniently located apartment on a 3 day visit to Amsterdam. We found it in Mark's VRBO. The apartment is clean, exactly as described and very comfortable. It does not have a kitchen or cooking area but we had our meals out, so not a concern for us. There is a mini fridge if needed. There is a small supermarket, bakery and restaurants on the same block. A tram stop literally outside the apartment takes you right to the museum area and other places of interest. Mark was one of the most charming and kind hosts we've ever met. He made sure all necessary information was provided prior to our arrival. He met us at the door and spent an hour chatting about the apartment, his beautiful garden, his love of the city and just making sure we were comfortably settled in.
