The spacious room and breakfast area are immaculate and well appointed. The location is very good for access to all activities and is close to the train station. It is very secure and the proprietor is kind, helpful and friendly. Perfect hotel choice.

Hotel muy agradable!
Pequeño hotel o B&B muy agradable, típica casa de Amsterdam, para quien quiere vivir la experiencia completa; Habitaciones amplias, limpias, acogedoras, muy bien acondicionadas, muchos detalles. Me fascinó mi habitación!! El unico "pero" para algunas personas quizá sean las escaleras tan inclinadas, típico de esas construcciones antiguas, loq ue hace un poco dura la subida con equipaje pesado o grande, pero por lo demás, me encantó! además de estar bien ubicado.

Buena experiencia, muy comodo el cuarto, excelente el Servicio que tienen en el piso donde esta la cocina hay todo lo necesario y mas, muy amable el servicio, la ubicación perfecta, distancia caminando 5 minutos a la estación central.

Una grata sorpresa
Una grata experiencia. Angelo atiende personalmente y se toma el tiempo de explicarte lo más relevante de la ciudad. Las habitaciones de un tamaño que no puede encontrarse en Ámsterdam a menos que pagues más de 300 euros. Cuenta con todos los accesorios y la limpieza era perfecta. En la parte de arriba hay una cocina muy bien surtida en la que puedes tomar lo que desees para el desayuno que está incluido. Muy satisfecho, sin duda regresaré en mi próxima visita. El único punto a tomar en cuenta es que no es accesible a personas mayores o con discapacidad, porque hay que subir 3 pisos por escaleras estrechas (como son típicas en Ámsterdam).

The room was very nice and Angelo was a great host - very helpful in making some recommendations and prompt in responses. The place is close to everything you need or want, including central station which can get you anywhere. Highly recommend!

Host went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed he gave an overview of places to visit things to see and where to eat Amsterdam is rich in history and there is much to do here and the location of this wonderful guest house made our stay that much more enjoyable the three flight of stairs was an added attraction to life in Amsterdam

Antonio is a great host and couldn't have done any more to make us feel welcome. I will recommend Crown Guesthouse to friends and family planning to visit Amsterdam with the proviso that they are able to manage the climb of three flights of steep stairs... Even after a great night out !!

Very nice hotel
It was wonderful hotel. The host was very kind, and everything in the room was well-equipped. There were various free welcome drinks in the fridge for guests. It's very close to the central station and has excellent accessibility to major tourist attractions. Highly recommended!

Amazing Find!
Wonderful stay - amazing host and super central location. The room and bathroom were absolutely fantastic - better than all hotels in this and even slightly higher price ranges. Angelo was a super responsive, kind and considerate host. Access to the guesthouse is via stairs only - but he helped us with the luggage (going up and coming down both!) so it was a breeze.

Angelo is a great host. Our first time visiting Amsterdam so we needed lots of help guiding us around and recommendations for things to do and places to go. Angelo gave us great tips and restaurants to try. I highly recommend staying here and Angelo was gracious enough to help us up and down the typical Amsterdam steep residential stairs.

This property was excellent because was close to everything in Amsterdam. Walking distance from the Central Train Station and other attractions. The owner Angelo was very helpful explaining everything about Ámsterdam. He also help us with the taxi to the airport. The apartment was very clean and beautiful. The only observation was the stairs because there is no elevator available.

Cool old Amsterdam hotel in a lively neighborhood
Charming 300 year old building with modern amenities. It's right on the border between the crowded, tacky central district and the lovely Jordaan area. It takes three super steep flights of stairs to get to the space and there's no AC, but the room is spacious and comfortable and throwing open the double doors is a treat. The manager, Angelo, provided excellent service. Overall, strongly recommend this place if you're looking for something comfortable, memorable and fun.

The location is great, in the middle to everything. Angelo was excellent, very easy to communicate with and very helpful. The room is very nice, spacious and has everything that needs. Be aware there is not an elevator or air conditioning. However, I had no issues. I will definitely come back

This Bnb style accommodation was absolutely perfect in both in location and comfortability. The bed was very comfortable the the room was large. We opted for the Deluxe suite which faces the back versus the front. The rooms are larger, including the bathroom with a large jacuzzi tub and quiet. Front facing rooms get the street noise. Angelo, the house manager was an absolute delight and in great part reason for such a delightful stay. There are many small attentions to details such as unlimited water, treats and snack, juice, etc. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want a more authentic and traditional dutch rooming experience.

Our host was fantastic. He let us drop our luggage off early and accommodated our schedule. The room was clean and big and had fun perks like beer and bubbly in the fridge for us. He also had some delicious fruit and other snacks. I highly recommend Crown. It is a quick walk to the train station. You won’t be disappointed!

Despite some steep stairs, it is well worth the climb. Exceptionally large, well appointed room for Amsterdam. Angelo couldn't be more helpful. So much better and larger than most rooms, and wonderfully appointed and clean.

Ideal Place in Amsterdam
Perfect location. Walking distance to most attractions (10 minutes to Anne Frank House, 10 minutes to Dam Square, 15 minutes to the Red Light District, 20 minutes to the LGBT area. Centraal Station is just 10-15 minutes away by foot. Plenty of restaurants, "coffeeshops", cafes, bars, souvenir stores, and supermarkets/groceries in the neighborhood. Angelo, the co-owner, was very responsive to my inquiries and helpful in carrying my luggage through the Dutch-style, narrow and steep staircase. I had the double room which was spacious and clean, with comfortable bed, pillows and blankets, functioning hot showers, temperature control, table and chair, sofa, cabinet, electric kettle, nespresso machine and fridge. I was given a bottle of white wine, orange and apple juice tetra packs, a pack of mini stroopwafels, beer and bottled water as welcome, complimentary items. Tap water was potable. I highly recommend this place.

Stayed in the room in back, which was large, comfortable and quiet. Great location; Jordaan is nearby and it's an easy walk to much of the inner city. Angelo is responsive, friendly and kind. Although there is no longer a breakfast Angelo provided an assortment of fruit and other snacks. Great stay in Amsterdam; would gladly return.
