Amabilidad, atención y diseño impecables
Estuvimos tres noches en La Remise, es un B&B de 3 habitaciones, con una atención personal cálida y profesional. Nos ayudaron con la instalación de las maletas y con información sobre la ciudad. Disfrutamos la alta calidad del diseño minimalista. El desayuno con productos locales y atención personal. Si bien no está en el centro, su ubicación es excelente para visitar la zona de museos y disfrutar de la ciudad.

This property is at a convenient location. Distance to shopping and dining areas are walkable and the environment is beautiful. We absolutely enjoyed a stroll in the morning. Owner was kind and offered to help us move the luggage. The room is spacious and classy. Bathroom is clean and modern. We love it.

The room we had was fine...but not the Nord room advertised and booked. We were not on the first floor but up another set of small hard to manage stairs next to a communal breakfast room . There was one chair..small windows and a 15cm step just inside the door which was extremely dangerous. The host was lovely and helped me up 2 flights of stairs with my suitcase but we struggled when leaving. Being elderly one flight of stairs as we were anticipating..as advertised for the Nord room ..would have made things a lot easier. The room we had should be called the loft...and described as such.

Dear Debra,The room you are referring to is our SUD room. The backdrop photo on the booking platform is the SUD room but not the room you had selected when booking.I would have been glad to help you with your luggage on your way down had you contacted me. I hope despite this you had a pleasant stay.

Wonderful location, convenient to train and everything else Amsterdam has to offer. Quiet street. You must go up a steep staircase for room on third floor, so not handicap assessable. Nice bathroom and use of kitchen and washer/dryer on third floor. Good value.

We had a really nice stay at this property. We had two rooms booked. Layouts were different however both were really large. Only issue is no elevator and the stairs are very narrow/steep, but this is probably very common in a lot of european places. Just be prepared for stairs. Also, there was early morning construction noises that started around 7am. Other than those two things, we did enjoy our trip and highly recommend staying here.

Perfect stay at this place, would definitely go back next time. Highly recommend ! Spacious room, clean, quiet. Loved the building. Breakfast was perfect. Staff kind and serious. Location very convenient, walking distance to the Rijksmuseum and the De Pijp neighborhood etc., the canals just around the corner.

Super tolle Unterkunft. Alexandre war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam Jogurt mit Früchten war echte Handarbeit, toll für den Gaumen und das Auge ( isst bekanntlich mit). Können wir auf jedenfall weiterempfehlen, es war ein traumhafter Aufenthalt. Herzlichen Dank

Great location and quiet. 2nd floor room was actually on the third floor, very steep staircase from the 2nd to 3rd floor, difficult to carry up 40 lb suitcases with no help. would not recommend unless you have very little luggage, picture shown is not the room we occupied This is a rented room from the owner, off the kitchen/eating area for those who take the B&B package ( we didnt)

Dear Diane,Very sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your stay. Just to clarify we have no third floor. Depending on arrival time we always help with luggage. Regarding your room, I can assure you it was not a “rented room”, you had the most updated room. After Covid we have undergone renovations and could be you saw old photos, we are sorry for that

Alex, the manager of the property, is wonderful--he had great recommendations and was very friendly and communicative. The room was gorgeous and the bed was very comfortable. There was even air conditioning, which can be rare in Amsterdam but is appreciated on those muggy summer days. We will definitely stay again! Thank you!

This is a classic brick multi-storey building in a fantastic area of Amsterdam. Check in was super simple, and our room got cleaned daily. The bed was great, the windows opened to allow plenty of fresh air. Everything is within easy walking distance, and there are restaurants on every corner. We hope to stay here again next year. If you cannot do stairs, this may not be the best place for you.

Wait outside in the rain & cold to check in
even though the property was given an hours notice of my arrival time, I still waited outside their front door in the rain and cold for them for a further hour and a half for them to show up. staff that arrived did not offer any help as i struggled with a heavy bag up incredible steep steps, nor did he speak any English. they promised refund/reduction but did not follow up/ write me after the stay

Great hotel at walking distance from downtown
It was a nice cozy hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. The hotel was clean and spacious for the two of us. There were quite a few restaurants around and a supermarket was a 3 min walk. Overall, great hotel and we recommend it.

Feines Hotel in ruhiger Lage mit kleinem Manko.
Das Hotel ist von der Lage her optimal; das Zimmer groß und sauber. Das Manko hier war die Lautstärke im Zimmer. Die Wände sind sehr dünn, somit hat man jedes kleine Geräusch im Treppenhaus und Flur mitbekommen. Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat wird davon mit Sicherheit wach.

La Remise Sud Room
Beautiful guesthouse! We stayed in the Sud room which was huge and looks just like the pictures online. Alexandre was a lovely host and let us check in straight away.

Location was great room is spacious and new shower was great Stairs were a killer like climbing a ladder no lift for luggage so very dangerous to take up and down the stairs bed was very uncomfortable hard to get in and out of lights go out when you need them they are on a sensor

La Remise was a typical town house in a nice quiet street in a good location for the museums. Our only criticism would be the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room - we were told we were welcome to use the kitchen upstairs but could find no mugs, tea bags or sugar and didn't like to rumidge in cupboards. Also a couple of handtowels in the bathroom would of been nice. Both minor details to an otherwise very enjoyable stay.

Main concern was very steep staircase to the 3rd floor bedroom and breakfast room. Kind of treacherous, especially with luggage. Mark was great re: breakfast.
