"Compact apartment, perfect for a couple or single. Small double bed and limited headroom in the bedroom but fine for a few nights. Due to limited headroom there isn’t a shower but there is a shower attachment in the bath for hair washing. Great location in the centre of Grasmere. We would definitely return."

"We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Grasmere has a magical quality that embraces you and transports you to another time and place. Abigail’s View was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms comfortable, the bathrooms luxurious. We enjoyed looking out on the village green each day to watch the passing parade. Our neighbors and the townspeople in general were charming and helpful. I would definitely choose to stay here again. Thank you."

"We spent four nights recently in Serendipity in the Lakelands complex in Ambleside. We were delighted to find it clean, comfortable and well located with just steps to the local Tesco, shops and restaurants. The king-sized bed was very comfortable.
